103 - the other Magic SC number

In a couple of posts at the start of the season I mentioned that the aggregate score for SC winners has been based on a weekly, per player score of 103 points - ie each & every player in the winner's team averages 103 pts across the season.

I just ran the numbers for 2022 after round 9 - the leader is on 21,499
Allowing 125 as a captain's bonus, the remaining per player average is - would you believe - 102.9

You'd think that scoring might improve as the season progresses, so maybe the average will eventually nudge over 103.

Yeah, Ridley - hamstring tightness.

He hasn't injured it, but it would be just like Essendon to play him only to see it go in the first five minutes of the game.

With Crisp and Ridley (and Whitfield) I'll definitely be bringing in a defender this week. When it rains it pours.
