The Cogs decision is killing me.
Have been aggressive with trades this year and currently sit inside the top 1000.
Want Oliver and/or RD 14 bye players as RD13 is the worst for me.
Thinking one of the following:

1. Cogs, SDK to Oliver & Rookie
2. Cogs, CMcDonald to Zorko & rookie
3. Hold and hope Cogs goes ok
Great discussion around Cogs but personally he was always a stepping step to a top 6-8 forward or mid, and with a BE of 146 I'm using him to get Oliver who I've been missing. As mentioned I'm sure will burn us sometimes with a big score, but a top 6 mid? Don't think so personally.
Brodie on the other hand, could end up being a nice F6.

FWIW I'd go with option 1.

I feel like Horse has always tagged Cripps, they’ve only tagged Touk and Danger this year to my knowledge with Rowbottom who is out. I think Warner has tagged before as well, is he a tag risk or not?

Tossing up who to pair with Clarry this week, Macrae is hard to vc because I won’t know his scaling before Oliver, Shiels half likely to come in and tag Neale

I probably will to do Oliver into Neale, even with a tag Neale Will likely tonne up, I want to get Clarry’s upside as VC and will take 120+

Macrae averages silly numbers at Mars and against GC. I wouldn't worry about scaling. You'll know one way or the other. (although it's always more fun to VC on a friday night, I can't deny)

You could be right and I just don’t enjoy the quick turnaround, he was average vs crows at Mars but that’s an anomaly

Neale should go very well against the Hawks but there’s a 50/50 chance Shiels comes in and tags him. If he’s not tagged he probably scores 130+ and if he is around 110, Hawks ranked 16th vs mids

definitely favouring these two over Cripps

I am quite tempted to at least VC Oliver otherwise Macrae would be an easier choice. When Clarry goes massive it tends to be against poor midfield opponents

Edit: I have decided if Shiels is in I’ll go Macrae if not I’ll go Neale

Pretty sure Nash tagged Oliver super effectively for a lot of the Hawks vs Demons game before moving over to Trac so there is a risk there if they decide to send him to Neale.

I also have a hazy recollection that Simpkin has done some jobs this season and he's back this week so could go to Oliver or Trac, however he played vs the blues and freo and both Cripps and Brayshaw went 130+ so probably less risk that I thought.

I've already realised I can't resist the tide of a Friday night VC. Go well on debut, VC Sam Walsh

I’m holding Cogs for now but will happily shift him if I need to unlock cash over the byes.
Yeah I'm much the same, with Whitfield and Ridley out I have to turf one of them, so Coniglio survives for now. If Ridley was not out I would have held Whitfield, but something has to give.

I'd go option 1 there, stay aggressive and get a ripping premium in Oliver. You're in a great spot and Cogs has more than done his job for you.

We might even need to go early on him next week given the lack of rookies!
Let's see how Cleary goes this week, he looked pretty decent last week. I've barely got 18 playing in round 13 so a downgrade to a round 12 rookie for cash and an upgrade to a round 12 premo that round (targeting Docherty) would be excellent.
