CBAs aren't always the best indicator. Smith's been the loose player at the back of just about every stoppage and Dunkley seems to have been playing forward a fair bit.

It’s based more on CBA’s than anything else so it’s the easiest way to guess, they also look a bit at where they get their disposals and are at stoppages but it’s mostly determined by CBA’s

If you’ve watched Cogs this year you’d have seen he plays high up the ground and attends a lot of stoppages after centre bounce but champion data currently classify him as a general forward (Player ratings Twitter page), meaning they classify him as playing less than 35% midfield, because he doesn’t attend many CBA’s

I’ve seen that this is the main metric used to determine positions in a few places but not sure where exactly

Made a few rubbish starting team selections this year but the best decision I made was to pick Macrae with the idea of having him as my perma VC. Rarely fails to deliver.
