Sorry misinterpreted that as a dig at my comment, yeah it’s not all they do but it’s the easiest way to figure it out, it’s hard to tell which players are directly involved in a stoppage in general play and heat maps skew players in better teams to being forward more often and the opposite for players in bad teams

Oh no it was a dig at CD/AFL 'analysis' in general. A lot's changed in the game in terms of who's doing what positionally and why, and the best most fans get is David King reading out his emails from CD. I'm sure a lot of supposed experts know something's different from what it was in the 90s, but they certainly aren't sure what.
