Finished of the season with a nice 228 which was enough to move me into the top 50 at 47th :)

Happy with that considering only ever see highlights of EPL matches and was rarely up for team announcements/late changes. Also kept too many trades in the bank and ended up making my team worse in the last few weeks trying to be clever lol

Congrats to those the pointy end and thanks to all for another EPLRDT season. Do it again again in a few months :D

Missed out on changing formation to field Raphinha over Werner and unfortunately captained Salah over Maddison for a total loss of 49 points.

Another great season and I am very surprised to be able to back up my performance from last season, with a lot of this to be attributed to the always generous community providing advice and assistance to those like me that have no interest or knowledge in what they are doing.

@vsberlina Great effort all year mate
Thanks once again. You didn't do too badly either. 13th is more than respectable.

Gets you a seat in the Super League 20 for next season (if you're game for a weekly bashing).
Quite a few here finished in the top 120, but it seems cut off is currently around 94 .

Will be a much tougher season for everyone I think. Haven't been able to identify any obvious bargain fillers.
It will definitely come down to who can get the early luck with fillers and get the DT quicker and with least trades.

Yeah blokes like KDB VVD Salah were such a relief to start the season at bottom dollar

I think blokes like Tsimikas and Chalobah were more important, as everyone had the players you mentioned.
Got the big pts, quick price rises, and allowed a faster flip to other big guns.
These types won't be cheap next season, and identifying others will be tricky.
Will have to rely on Phil Jones. :ROFLMAO:

Any thoughts on how the extra substitutions will change things next season? Teams can make up to 5 substitutions (2 at HT) rather than 3. Could be a lot of players playing half matches only.

Yep. Chuck in the World Cup, and there's going to be lots of cursing (more than usual).

At a glance, DEF rarely get subbed, and given they are amongst the best scoring (6/12 were DEF last season), it's probably worth spending the cash there.

I'll be keeping an eye on Newcastle as well. See who they bring in.
Given they're not a big 6 club, they should be cheap and will do much better than promoted sides.

Then of course there's the loaned out players from the big clubs. Worth a punt at bargain prices.

Haaland will be interesting. Does he fit in the City game plan, or will he be another Lukaku or Werner?
