Whilst this is just a practice round it is pretty clear that people are still competing pretty intensely for bragging rights. Therefore please note that the official bragging rights this round will go to the member who records the best scoring game for the round (ie not the lowest aggregate). Hopefully this will encourage people to have a go (and have a chance) without committing to every game.
Note that like last year the real finals comp will not be an aggregate comp across the 9 finals. History has shown that scores become too spread too quickly doing this and too many drop out of contention too early. Last year each entrant carried their best scoring game forward each week and this certainly worked better than the pure aggregation of the previous year. I would expect to do something similar this year.
Hey mate, am enjoying it so far, made a decent comeback from a potentially disastrous start.
Just curious, are you selecting these fringe players like Cameron, Fritsch etc because of their unpredictability to make it more difficult to guess their score or are they just random names in a hat kinda thing?
I didn't do too badly with a few of those guys but the so called premos like McCluggage and Brayshaw really hurt when I got them wrong.
