Not sure if anyone watched the first episode of Australian Survivor (everyone was probably watching MAFS instead), but the Villains got decimated. A bit disappointing, as they seemed to be the more interesting tribe of the two.

Most cringeworthy moment had to be a white woman saying they are more African-American than a black woman. That's going to go down really well when they actually spend some time focusing on the Heroes again...

This might belong more in the other TV topic, but they had an ad on during the show for the Aussie version of Taskmaster - it starts this Thursday. I thought it'd be on later in the year. I know there's a few fans of the UK version here who would probably be interested who might not be aware (I quite like it too, so looking forward to the Aussie version).

Episode 1 is now available on the Ten Play app.

I just looked and only saw a 1 minute preview on the website, might need to download the app...
For some reason I have an account with Ten Play (cannot recall last time app was used) which might have been a requirement to watch/cast content. Email provided a link to site which when logged in,displays the full episode.

Me!

Heroes tribe does seem quite boring. Overall the Heroes tribe has quite a strong physical tribe with players such as 2 former AFL players, a lifeguard and Sam who looks in shape. I feel like they have a cheat code in Shaun Hampson. His physique alone should win them almost every challenge. Poor Hayley though, one of my faves is just a sitting duck. Can't have winners come back, as they'll unfortunately get picked off. She'll basically ruin her legacy by coming back this early which really isn't a fault of her own. The casting if it was all returnees would have levelled the playing field somewhat.

The pole vaulter Liz for the Villains is quite physical though. If she continues to work with Shonee, she'll get very far as she can use her as a shield. George not going was great for entertainment and as Shonee keeps saying, he's a great shield too. Being the first ever "triple player" that's expected of her. Hope she goes far. Simon likely to get picked off if he doesn't somehow put his vendetta aside and actually work with Shonee & George.

As to that comment... a total Karen. Feel like she could have easily been a villain the way she runs her mouth despite her day job.

If these newer players watched the last season where an ex-returnee wins it, they'll be smart to start pick off all returnees.

Agree with all that.

I laughed at Stevie's comment at tribal tonight about getting a dog if you want loyalty, one of the best moments of the night. So true. It would be so hard to trust anyone in Survivor.

I totally would have destroyed the other tribe's camp completely if I was part of the tribe that won that reward. As George said, set it on fire, disappointed they didn't. They didn't even put the fire out completely, very poor.

Michael deserved to go - way too focused on just getting George out for no real reason. Glad Shonee talked the others around, as it was quite annoying.

Looks like Simon gets an idol of some kind from the preview, wonder if he uses it this time.

its not really related but i saw a bit of a Survivor reunion at Wet n Wild the other day - Luke Toki, Simon Black, Daisy, and another older chick (super fit, black hair) but cant recall her name. They were there with their whole families for the day and had a private gazebo.

It also looked like they were doing some videos with their phone, perhaps for the upcoming season (perhaps more for the online side of things). It is good to know the friendships last!

I did see a photo on instagram of them at Wet n Wild! That woman would be Jacqui! She was a bit of a challenge beast, she beat that gladiator zach in a challenge one time.
