Speaking of leagues I have a spreadsheet set up to cater for a 16 team league split into 2 conferences of 8 playing head to head matches.

Note I will have.to close off early-ish as I am travelling on Friday, unless some else can assist.

Sorry, Ella, not Ellie.

Also relised Stephen was talking about McKenzie from Richmond.

With regards to McKenzie, she was a number 1 draft pick who missed a lot of last season through injury but hasn’t missed a beat this pre-season and should get mid minutes.
Thanks bb, I would add that McKenzie averaged 62 in 2021, and 39 last season as she built fitness and rotated in the forward line through the season.

I saw her moving very well in the Freo match sim, her and Conti were playing a different game to the others.

I would be hugely surprised if she isn’t 90% mid and averaging high 50s or better. Basically Patrikios light, at a fraction of the price and forward eligibility makes it a no brainer for mine.

I think a lot of teams so far have been influenced by the Free Kick POD and now this is Out Watch a mass run on these players most of which I think are good options.

I am pretty active on Twitter and looking to get others to chip in so wondering if someone can request the top 50 players ownership which I think would be much more informative.

Based on the top 15 I would query Whelan and to an extent Shepard from Sydney, and 2 young and inexperienced rucks when there are proven state league options like McGrath and Borg.

Looking at previous seasons Cutting and Good averaged near 50 out of the SANFLW, I reckon Wales wouldn’t have near the stats of McGarth and Borg in the VFLW.

Foley is also a shock at $50k, not sure I see the value.

As mentioned 5 more teams to form a 10 team league and 11 more available in a 16 team version.

Let’s see how many we can get on board.

edit - also saw the tool published last night here, which allows for a broader range of team entries View: https://twitter.com/wizchazzwazzers/status/1561659977965924352?s=21&t=kR6Yb75E6F6XJ09FSlsfhA

I know MM is not a big fan of rolling lockouts so with team announcements at 530pm the night before I am likely to be carefully considering whether to limit the number of players in the teams playing this Sunday in case of late selection drama.

Round one
Sunday, August 28
Western Bulldogs v Greater Western Sydney, IKON Park, 12.10pm AEST
Brisbane v Fremantle, Gabba, 2.10pm AEST
Geelong v Richmond, GMHBA Stadium, 4.10pm AEST

Just did a count for my current team. Just the three from Sunday. Phew.
