Can I just say whoever the moron who did the fixturing/tv schedule for round 1 should be sacked. Can't believe some idiot thought i was a good idea to chuck Melbourne v St Kilda on TV when they could have had Geelong v Adelaide instead. Rubbish.

If Melbourne v St Kilda wasn't so fantasy relevant, I'm not sure if I'd even turn the telly on.

To paraphrase a line from "the meaning of life"

Just one more little tinker.

Tyson to Aish

Similar preseason numbers if we expect similar season numbers at almost 30k cheaper Aish will moo further and quicker (and is a little PODish).

Am I crazy, smart, or crazy smart??

The extra 30k may come in handy if someone goes down injured before the cows moo too.

In a toss up for rookie spots I tend to take the cheaper option, if it is a genuine toss up.

I changed Wines for Koby Stevens before the lockout last season and ended up trading Stevens for Wines the next round, costing me about 70pts and a trade. Hence, I'd avoid late switches unless you're quite confident you're making the right choice.

did the same thing last year! so i'm +1 with grant

I think with cross, vince, trengrove fit, obviously jones in the middle Tyson should work off them nicely. dees have a softer early draw. Tyson entering his 3rd AFL season compared to Aish in in his first is the reason Tyson more popular (probably warranted). Tyson will most likely be a slow burner due to price tag, therefore one of the last to upgrade or downgrade

Pick which one you think will make the most money before the bye because that's the only thing that matters.
Cash generation depends on, initial starting price, SC points and amount of games played (so take into account Job Security, injury proneness ect.)

You would want Tyson to average around 7 points more per game than Aish to be equivilant given that I beleive their job security is fairly strong for both.
From here it is a matter of opinion...

I was thinking the same thing yesterday and came to the conclusion that it's due to timing and primetime tv. Doesn't matter who's playing at 7.40pm Friday, Saturday or Sunday that's when most people are more likely to be home on the couch..more to do with when games are scheduled rather than who's playing.

they probably knew fantasy coaches would be interested in this game, and being a loan game probably got good ratings where if it was later in the year it be **** since all those rookies would be upgraded lol.

Can someone please tell if being a Foxtel sports subscriber enables you to receive live SC scores through live.footy???

Wouldn't have thought so. Live SC scores require a HS sub. The AFL has its own comp and Foxtel and 7Footy would be pushing that.

Not sure what the minimum sub to the HS is but its been reported you can sign up for $1 for the first 28 days.

Its probably been mentioned already but I missed it, Is there a reason why there is no live chat this year?

On SCS? I think it's because Jay added the live AF points and other features, but I don't think it was correctly uploading onto here straight away.

Not sure about the chat itself though. :/

Sorry, Yeah the live chat on this website. Just for the random talk throughout matches was good because it wouldnt clog up the weekly threads.

Yeah didn't mind the chat feature but i also like that all the chat goes into the weekly thread as I can catch up on what's happened when I'm not around during the game. I think the chat had limitations to how much was still visible after x amount of time/posts.
