Worked for me with Ross Smith in the last event.

Soutar can play. He really should be unbeaten (had 6 match darts to close out Wright in the group). He's been a big improver over the past 12 months. You just never know. He's got the ability to average close to 100 if not over it, and in majority of matches that can be enough to get it done.
The big jump in match length from best of 19 legs to best of 31 legs for the remainder of the tournament would be the main concern for Soutar to sustain his scoring and finishing throughout the length, given the vast difference to the Pro Tour events and the other television tournaments he has participated in so far.

I really do hope that the results of Price and MvG aren’t frowned upon. It’s showing the game is growing, and I really think it’s great for this competition going forward. It encourages everyone to take risks to a degree. You never know how it might pan out.

What a final 4 we have. The old timer RvB having an incredible week beating Price twice, Whitlock and Chizzy. Smith still searching for that elusive TV title, and knocking out Cullen from a break down at the death. Asp losing to Soutar in group match 1, then taking out Wright and turning the tables on Soutar. And Humphries disposing of MvG, despite missing 32 darts at double, and announcing himself as a contender over the next month irrespective of what may happen tomorrow.
