Can I clarify the starting times tonight? The thread has 4 05pm and 7 15pm, Cricinfo has 5 05pm and 8 15pm. I'm in Sydney btw.

The Stars v Hobart game starts at 5.05pm (Vic time) (in 5 hours from now) and the second game starts at 8.15pm (Vic time in 8 hours and 15 minutes from now).

This is a concern. Think he is whilst Jordan is unavailable he is. When Jordan becomes available he seems most likely to be dropped.

The new 19 year old spinner who’s played one game for the Sixers or the guy who’s been a permanent guy in their squad for the last 3 very successful seasons taking 15+ wickets each season including a 24 wicket season, who had an off night.

I’d expect Dwarshuis would get an extended run if in a patch of poor form with what he’s given to them.

Times listed in thread titles for this and other fantasy formats usually are intentionally listed an hour earlier.

I can’t see how you get those numbers unless you went lighter on R1 DGR’s or you are planning on going hard early with you boosts.

I was planning on going hard with the boosts.
Rnd.1: 11 DGRs - 6 x ST, 3 x AS, 2 x MS; 2 x PS, 2 x BH, 1 x MR
Rnd.2: 11 DGRs - 6 x ST, 5 X PS (3 trades), 2 x AS, 2 x BH, 1 X MR, 1 x MS
Rnd.3: 5 DGR/BH (3 trades) - the ST/PS/MS mix depends on BEs
Rnd.4: 3/4 trades for MR/SS players
Rnd.5: 7/8/9 DGR - 3/4 trades for MR/SS players.

Apologies. You are right. I miscalculated my rnd.5 DGRs. At most I will have 9 and that is if I use 2 boosts.
That was my pre-rnd.1 plan.
Now I'm not so sure about the Heat players. I'm considering going with only 4 and bringing in Naveed - I already have Hosein.

Could be an effective strategy, but I imagine the drawback of having 16 playable guys is difficulty getting as many premiums as others. The sgw players probably were trouble could happen.

Big numbers though.

As much as youd be picking Naveed to make money if he doesnt play through their double its largely pointless IMHO when youve already missed one price rise, a more concrete report on Jordan would be handy.

Thread title has times listed in the thread title are AEST (standard). Some australian states are daylight saving time, so you are AEDT.

Better for AEDT members to be early than AEST members be late.

As much as youd be picking Naveed to make money if he doesnt play through their double its largely pointless IMHO when youve already missed one price rise, a more concrete report on Jordan would be handy.

I guess whilst you’re loosing the cash gen, if it gets to round 5 and he’s still in the side and averaging well (say 50 ppg) it’s still going to be a good buy at like 120-130k

Yeah AEST 10 hours ahead of the UK at the moment. AEDT 11 hours.

The way I’m looking at it is, was always planning to boost round 5 to grab Sixers/Gades, all I’d be doing is bringing that boost forward to grab Naveed and Hosein now, thus saving the boost go round 5. Though probably will boost next week too to get up to 4x Heat

Naveed could be a bonus for their DGR if he lasts that long , still think they signed him to play him , so if/when Jordan is available to play they will just go 3 x OS , even more so after last night.

Interesting if they slide Patterson , DC or Kerr out to make it fit

Gather most would be looking at Abbott , Philippe + 1 for their SS.

Hosein would have been in the picture for the MR alongside Richardson , Mujeeb etc

Heat certainly didn't inspire me that much last night to still go 3-4 , Renshaw returns makes things different & if Neser is available is the million dollar question pity we don't get a second look at them before their DGR.

Yeah agree on Naveed, think they’ll look to fit him in somewhere tbh, but not 100 Obviously

It’s sort of a big call because as Shaun said, if he doesn’t make it to the DGR he’s probably not worth it now. That being said, he could make 50k in the next 3-4 rounds

Screams plays in Perth then doesnt travel to Tassie with a 2 day turnaround to me, would be a brave man to fade him though his Optus Stadium record is incredible.
