180k feels alot for a finger spinner there was a world where I took him on, dont think him and Mujeeb's output from here will differentiate enough to justify a 80K price difference.
I just don’t think he’s going to maintain the big scores. He’s not a guy I see averaging 90 across the season, some down games have to come. The Geelong game is a bit of a worry but the next two are playing better teams then he’s played at less bowler friendly pitches.

Granted if i was having a good season I wouldn’t take him on but gotta take some risks somewhere.

Sorry I've been working a lot and missed a lot of messages but why didn't naveed play? I brought him in over dooley as a cash gen bench and thought naveed was better for upcoming sixers double. Was he not picked cause of injury, other team requirements or just switched out by sixers? Didn't cost me points tbf but lost cash gen
Not sure there's been much info... as an owner I'm hoping it was due to rain/wet ball risk, but we wait and see.

What’s the consensus on Rogers? Already have Hosein and planning to get K.Richo next round but don’t want to overdo it on Gades bowlers especially owning Phillipe and maybe one more Sixers bat next round

Almost 170K for a bowler who doesnt really bat playing against the best side in the comp twice just screams pass to me, may make me look stupid but just think he's got no value, this is a guy who didnt even bowl out 4 overs 2 games ago... much rather pick Richardson who has been proven for years and is 20k cheaper, always bounces back well after a freshen up.

Well we finally had a game where the batting points outscored the bowling points!! However it took a road at the Junction Oval to do it, and only just!

Game 11: Batting 350 (45%) Fielding 421 (55%)
Game 12: Batting 557 (50.5%) Fielding 546 (49.5%)
Game 13: Batting 395 (37%) Fielding 661 (63%)

Season: Batting 4,766 (39%) Fielding 7,350 (41%)

Lasts nights game was the third time this season where the losing team has outscored the winning team. However, on average, the winning team has scored 55% of the total points.

I need to bring in a keeper to get Clarke and Inglis off the same line.
tossing up between Gilkes and Handscomb. I can’t decide if a donut or potential 20 points off the bench will be more beneficial.
Handscomb cant be far off replacing Harper, lot more experienced and in form and Harper has been absolutely rubbish, would probably go there.

I think with there changes in batting stocks Handscomb becomes redundant.

Guptill, Maddinson, Marsh, Finch, Wells. You’d rather a guy that can score quickly like Harper in that 6 spot given the guys above him - particularly the middle order - are all capable of anchoring.

I can’t see it happening. Handscomb is a truly horrible keeper and outside of 1 innings for the Stars a long time ago I think Harper has him covered with the bat.
I’ll probably take Pete for the donut though. It’ll be disappointing if by some miracle he gets picked.

First round where I'm really not sure what to do, feel like the pretty poor team value is going to hurt at this point of the season, open to any advice. View attachment 50386
In rough order, I’d be looking at 3 of Rashid, Munro, Faf and Zampa to 3 of Kerr, Mujeeb, Philippe and KRicho.

Boosting this round or R5 for the next Dooley could be a POD play given everyone will be focused on DGR players.

Naveed looks value and should make cash and score well on the R5 pitches, if you are comfortable on his JS.

Opinions on who is the best option out of Sutherland, fraser-mcgurk and harper for the gades DGR. I am thinking sutherland... Dre russ will be out and his replacement guptil doeans't bowl. Sutherland would then be a decent chance of bowling 6-8 overs?

Yep Sutherland is not a bad option to free up cash at $46k, I’m getting him and will loop him with an SGR player that round

That's really made me consider Maddinson quite strongly for R5. Only one of those five with any chance of jagging some overs, and I can't see Sutherland bowling 4 a game...

Good chance they pick Prestwidge or Moody I reckon and drop a batsman to fit Guptill in, dont see them relying on Sutherland and Maddinson to bowl 4 overs.

I would have tended to agree, however after looking at Sutherlands recent first class games he has been killing it, so maybe he is a much improved bowler. But with Fraser-Mcgurk not offering much they might swap prestwidge in for him as a 6th bowling option.

Yeah I think 170k for a bowler is the type of money you only pay for the real big dogs like your Abbott, Jhye Richo, Tye, Rashid, Kane Richo types. Think
I’ll be without Rogers for his DGR tbh. Already have Hosein and will get Richo so don’t want to overdo it with Gades bowlers. Will have Phillipe and maybe Vince/Patterson as batters against them
