Nice team, Mitchell not for me. So this year you are playing for overall, not league.
The problem is your team has really o
Thats a better structure.

I understand your bullish on Himmilberg and i agree its a wait and see, but dont discount Hopper as he is great value.

Good Luck
Is Hopper a keeper or a cash cow? I just hate those players caught in no man's land neither keepers or cash cow and players like daics hopper and Himmelberg slot there.I have only 10 keepers but all are genuine keepers. The only cheaper prems i look at are fallen prems and aside from Fyfe they are rare. Fyfe is interesting and can still make coin like Oliver did early when he was 373k the problem is one is old and ski ing downhill NDD

WEST Coast midfielder Campbell Chesser lifted his workload at training on Monday as the prized youngster builds towards an overdue return to the main group this pre-season.

Chesser remains on a managed program as he works his way back from serious bone and ligament damage in his right ankle last February, with the Eagles taking a cautious approach with their first-round pick from the 2021 NAB AFL Draft.

The classy right footer spent time with the rehab group during last week's return to training but appeared to step things up on Monday, taking part in several drills before completing his own running session.

The 19-year-old moved well at Mineral Resources Park and put his kicking skills on show before he was moved to the sidelines during higher intensity ball-movement work.

The Eagles' senior midfielders are in good shape, with premiership pair Dom Sheed and Andrew Gaff impressing after strong outings during last Friday's match simulation session.

Dual club champion Elliot Yeo has clearly taken a step forward after being managed before the Christmas break. He completed Monday's session with the main group and showed his powerful attributes on several occasions.

Captain Luke Shuey spent much of Monday's session running laps but could return to spend time with the main group by the end of the week.

Among the draftees, big-bodied midfielder Reuben Ginbey appeared at home moving through the midfield contests, while small forward Noah Long has excited the club with his potential early.
Lots of SC Value at WCE this year.

Any word on who will be the relief ruck at WCE.

Currently have Allen at F5

Hopper is a cash grab until his bye round 100+ avg would be good. Id be surprised if he reaches keeper level. But you neve know. Has not left my team since first draft.

Current side and structure, will probably post another team in a week when it opens :D

Macrae would be the first one to go for a cheaper player if I need extra money with this structure. Interested in Cripps, Green or Anderson as replacements.

Do you see Ginbey playing round 1 onwards?

Hewett seems more favourable judging by BF board

Way too early to tell but physically Ginbey is AFL ready, very strong body.

His work ethic & attitude has impressed all at WCE, very driven young man that is doing everything he can to put himself in the frame come round 1.

Hewett is more “silk”/ classy type that likes to go fwd & kick goals so he is obviously going to catch the eye of track observers more whilst Ginbey is more your blue collar/ no frills type that does all the little things well.

Thoughts on issac cumming? Could he push for a top 8 def?

Should do quite well without HH in the backline but I think we still need to worry about Whitfield and his impact on him if he’s fit and playing well and is moved down back. HH is also a chance to be moved back during the year and Kingsley has flagged that but I suspect they need him more up forward with Hogan their only other reliable fwd target

Cumming also had a giant number of kick ins past two years so that’s a slight concern with a new coach

Haha hopefully for our sakes some of these picks work out. 😆

Like I said don’t love paying that much in the mids and think I likely won’t be able to afford all of them so Macrae is one that could easily come out

What does everyone think Darcy Cameron is going to ave? Is he just getting picked for his fwd/rk status?
Don't think you should pick a player at that kind of price for their R/F status. At that price they need to be a pick on their merits. The R/F comes as a bonus if they fit into your team. At the moment I have him in my fwd line because he looks like a #1 ruck and that should mean he scores enough to be a fwd keeper. If it turns out he won't be #1 ruck then I would probably replace him. I would not have him as a starter on the ruck line.
