My concern with Worpel is that he’s had opportunity and still struggled. His poor was really bad which is a real worry

I'm surprised I could afford something like this and have it end up halfway possible; granted the bench is very cheap but without any further knowledge this early in the preseason it could be something viable; that said I'm not sure I want to spend $600k+ on 3 defenders - but on the flipside, trying to predict a breakout is also fraught with risk

I think picking a side with so many cheap rookies (most sides I've seen do this) is also fraught with danger as there is no way that many cheap rookies will get named for round 1. I've tried to balance out my side with 10 keepers, mid price players that will be in best 22 and mostly higher priced rookies as more likely to play. Good luck.

Looks good. Exact same forward six for me atm. Have Darcy atm also. Mid premos same, lol. Went a little cheaper in defence and have another mid pricer/stepping stone in mids.

this is a top side ever so close to my set up . I just query the Ashcroft selection as he may suffer come 3/4 time sub rule Gibney looks a starter and a gun as does Bill Dowling ,watch this kid fly now you have nearly my team I still mull over the rucks and Grundy keeps coming back maybe for Broken English

Reflecting on this, plus debating whether Rd 13 will be best 18 or 22, has shaped & will continue to shape my starting side.

Liam Jones has made his way into my side as I'm thinking he isn't a candidate for the sub vest despite his scoring ceiling not being the highest.

Last I heard he had a hamstring injury, which is not uncommon he returning from an ACL. I'm not sure he starts in the firsts in round 1, but if he does he has to be strongly considered as an (upper) rookie priced player.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing, for me it'll be between Jones and Coffield to occupy my D4 spot, whoever looks better approaching round 1.

I think I read somewhere he had a minor surgery on the hamstring issue and it was only going to set him back a couple of weeks.

I think for me, putting Coffield or Jones in would be for the purpose of replacing a rookie spot with someone who will get games and not be suddenly dropped or rested, and score a bit better than the average rookie too, hopefully somewhere around 65 - 80
