This is so confusing…

Why can’t there be some transparency/ clarity? Surely all test squad members going to India should be unavailable for BBL finals rather than this ridiculous situation where 1 bowler can play but the other can’t. Wound love to know the reasoning behind it, just seems bizarre to me
Spin bowlers camp + the NSW quicks (Cummins & Hazlewood given Starc is injured).

No mention if Boland is involved.

Can't understand why Morris wouldn't be involved , or are they just taking him to India as a tourist , if so he would be better off remaining home and playing Shield cricket.

Starc already ruled out of the 1st Test so I guess they need him (Morris) in Nagpur if "Delhi Belly" strikes the other 3 quicks

First test isn’t until the 9th. Morris will still have 10+ days in India to soak up everything.

It’s quite a long tour (over a month just for the tests), so missing the first 3-5 days isn’t going to hurt. He’ll also get to experience a bbl finals series as a player (more than likely a successful one at that).

Only available for the game on the 28th though , assuming he is flying out on the 31st so will miss any other finals.

Steve Smith will delay his entry into Australia’s Test camp in a bid to spearhead the Sydney Sixers to a fourth Big Bash title.
Fox Cricket recorded its highest ratings of the season for the Sydney Smash blockbuster, as the must-watch dynamic of Smith smashing boundaries while Australian teammate David Warner plotted his downfall on the live mic enthralled viewers.

And on the back of the batting superstar’s second consecutive BBL hundred at the SCG, it can be revealed Australian coach Andrew McDonald has now given Smith permission to play the Sixers’ first final on January 28 before joining camp for the tour of India.

Members of the Australian team are due to train in Sydney starting on Saturday, but Smith has received an extension to continue headlining the BBL before flying to India on January 31.

Smith’s confirmed inclusion is a massive boost for the Sixers, given the magnitude of The Qualifier Final they’ll play against the Perth Scorchers

Sorry, but this is garbage.., Smith can play in the first final but Agar can’t.

977 Neser. Pretty happy finally nailing a good one after a lot of consistent par scores. Thanks Bancroft. Hopefully narrowed that 90 point gap to 11th down a bit. Onto the next
Into 8th wow (finished this 5 years ago in BBL Fantasy), third time 18th a lucky charm, will probs go back to safe now. Thinking 6 DGR to reduce the chance of missing any big ones. Now which 6 is the question ahhh. Good luck for those at the top of the table

Down to 15th - Top 11 is 50 points off and is the goal at the moment but it's gonna be tough from here. I wonder if there will be many using the C on SGR players this week if a Hurricane stinks it up in Game 1.
POD Hurricane as the VC locked and loaded.
Expect its what everyone will do granted there's not exactly a reliable Thunder or Stars player to Captain.

Wife was quite possibly the highest scorer for the Round, of the teams with no S Smith, and a sub 100 Captain.
She got a weekly 50th, which is quite amazing, given the above.
After a poor Round, in Round 11, where she fell from 288th to 531st, she is into the top 200 for the season, at 196th.
