His 1044 took him into 78th overall...

Now he's aiming to beat my final score of 82nd in BBL11

It'll be interesting to see how he plays it. He has 4 trades to go

Here's his current team

Inglis / Wade
Smith, Short, Neser, Bazley, Bancroft / David, Sams
Tye, Hardie, Morris, Labuchagne, Johnson / Dooley, Zampa

He mentioned earlier he will trade in 4 Canes.

@tso @Professor

I think Bancroft at WK1 is worth considering. It gives you a backup in case your Hurricane keeper goes low and gets injured/suspended/dropped for game two.

Also gives you a certain C loop option without having to take your BAT or BWL E.
Last time I did that Bancroft cleaned me up game 2. 😁 thanks for the tip. Definitely consider it. Just think Holt may get a game. So he's safer on the pine

Ive got Holt but I can't see myself looping with him, while the risk of him playing is low it could cost dearly if hes named and its the last game of the round and youve already played all your cards.

I've just noticed that the 2nd ranked player 'Hit Four Six' is in a league of mine. The league is called 'A Fair Delivery' and is a SCS league. So it seems that he must view the site but not post. Very interesting.
Most people at the business end would view this site. Absolute wealth of information.

I'm in some of the AFL cash leagues and the group one, but haven't got involved cricket-wise. I post a bit on the footy, but don't really feel I could add much to what are often heads or tails calls in the BBL.

I've snuck up to 26th, which I wouldn't have done without reading here. Great to follow the guys at the top, which you rarely get to do in the footy.

Good luck to all those that are playing for a bit more than KFC vouchers!

Surely you can add to something here, to be ranked 26th is a fantastic effort. Can you do me a favour and join Group Code (623147). This will enable the leadership group to track your team and you can also join a SCS league next year, but you need to be active on the site, which you are for AFL, I believe you're a Blues man from memory.

906 (Hardie)

Finally cracked the top 500 (been a long journey) at 476 (up 131)

Last minute decision to fade Neser as C was looking poor after first game, but picked up 28 points in the end on taking Hardie as VC, could have been better if the Scorchers could take some catches.

On to the next one, have not had a look at trades yet, but will more than likely trade in 3 Hurricanes to go with Meredith and Ellis.

Good luck to all and may the weather be kind

1047 (Neser). Very happy with how the Scorchers game turned out - my DGR Scorchers (Bancroft, Eskinazi, Hardie) set up my round. Could have been another 52 points if I had David in over Warner!

More importantly, this has helped me claw.back.the majority of the rank I lost in the SGRs - up 296 places to 260 overall. Not far off the 196 I was at after Rd 9. Hoping to get top 200 after the last round.

The final 3 days of a long season and something tells me there will be more curves coming.

Thanks to Steven Peter Deveraux Smith for punishing the **** out of me on Saturday night.

I'm a pretty firm believer in things happening for a reason, and I just think this is the path I have been on all along.

The lead is still in tact, only smaller. And there's 4 decisions to the line. If I make 4 good ones I win. If I make any less than that then it's in jeopardy. Either way, I can't control the outcomes, like everyone else I just attempt to make the best decisions I can with the info I have.

So much intrigue around the weather tonight. That's going to be a bit of a scramble in itself. I know there's people worse off in the chasing pack than me if it strikes, and I know they don't have the use of a boost to assist.

All of this guarantees nothing because we all know you can strike it lucky without advantages in this game.

Good luck for the run home to all, and may the best team win.
