Rankine might end up being the best of the fwd mid-price options.

Anyone else going cold on Pedlar, or are we happy to start him as he plays fwd while he builds fitness and hope he increases mid time as the season progresses?

I'm looking at the forward line and currently seeing only two cheaper rookies that tend towards 'likely': WCE Long and JVR.

Is there anyone else between them and McLean in price that I've missed? Josh Bruce if he gets the role I guess; maybe Francis (above).

Otherwise I'm thinking I might need to have another look at Allen for F5 to add some depth rather than rely on a cheap F6

Fergus Greene - 123K, with Lewis injured, many think he will debut round 1, mature age recruit that impressed in the VFL last year.

Alwyn Davey another - 117K mid/mid, impressing at bombers training/ in the mix for round 1.

Oooh nice thanks, will keep an eye out on those. Would love a M/F DPP at M11 for swing purposes too.

I dont see the appeal in Pedlar tbh, firmly on the fringe of the best 22, role is horrific and durability isn't much better, dont see how hed ever play mid when there's Laird,Berry,Keays,Schoenberg and Soligo all ahead of him even Rankine probably gets mid minutes aswell.

Isn't one sub 150k forward rookie I think averages much over 40, and most have pretty average job security it's a terrible position to pick players this year, McLean at F6 and two pretty rubbish bench rookies is the way we are going to have to go.

Hello
Is Comben a reasonable shout at 123K?

Yeah I'd take Phillipou before Bruce or Francis.
Id be very interested if Phillipou is best 22, have him starting just outside after having a look at their list though.

Has to jump one of Butler,Higgins,NWM,Owens and Windhager to get a game I reckon.

Watching his pre sesson closely as he's a massive talent.

So who are the best forwards rookie's from this year draft. That will stay a forward in SC going forward. Excluding the mature aged recruits. So the 18yo.
