Never been one to read too much into pre-season form but in the immortal words of Blues coaching icon Mick Malthouse, I can't see who's beating us this year...

I really wanted to pick LDU but just couldn't find a way to fit him in. The injury cloud over Miller certainly opens up that opportunity. The extra $100k is a nice little bonus

McKenna didn't do too much, streaming quality was quite awful though so might have not picked him up all the time.
Don't think Francis is in their 22.

All the mids did enough,LDU,Taranto & Hopper were amongst it.
Ziebell wasn't as prominent as I expected,Goater was good.

For Tiges the guy who looks to have taken Lambert's role is Judson Clarke.
Elite user & tank is obviously building. Smart actually as won't be room in a fwd line of Dusty,Bolton,Rioli & sometimes Cotch.

Fwd only 196.7,worth keeping an eye on next week v Dees.

Camera was on Mars again so had trouble telling who the hell had the ball half the time, thought McKenna looked very rusty but its to be expected from a guy thats hardly touched a Sherrin in 2 years.

Got a stack of it inside as usual,probably didn't use it that well.
Admit I haven't seen enough of him to know if that's a regular issue or just rusty

Edit: Actually I think they are swapping between center and defence with McDonald in the forward line.

Not sure if Coffield is playing but didn't see him at all. Also Phillipou stuck in the forwards ,don't think he touched it either.

Dees ruck split looked like it was 50/50.

That 4th bench spot could easily go to Rohan / Miers / Parfitt / Menegola instead of Z Guthrie. Reckon the 3 new recruits are gonna get first crack and form will determine if they can hold their spot. Ratugolea covers for J Henry and could get half a dozen games in (and perhaps hold depending on form), not that the extent of J Henry's injury is clear

If Bruhn has another good game in the middle my whole team will nead to change. Will be hard to ignore if he gets Selwood role.
