Center Bounce Attendance.
The 'total cba's' are how many there were in the game.
Oh I get it. So as an example Reilly O'Brien attended 21 centre bounce attendances out of 24 total centre bounce attendances to give him a percentage of 87.5% centre bounce attendance attendances.

This McAndrew fellow gives food for thought
And be cautious not to place too much weight into CBA for rucks when Ruck Contests Attended is a much more reliable indicator.

Dear God, please don't make me go into the season with ROB or English.

I've changed my R2 so many times already, but I'm leaning towards Jackson even if he is playing forward. My reasoning is he'll play every game and would be a good placeholder until we can see more stability in the rucks, and he can be swung into the forward line or used as a stepping stone to someone fit and performing, as I just can't find the 100k for Darcy.

Witts/Marshall seems like the obvious pairing. I was keen on Meek but barring a complete 180 in the next practice match that dream seems dead.

Lot of talk about Witts being fully priced, but could he actually improve. Full season and a full preseason in the legs after an ACL. Have to love the midfield around him he is tapping down too.

He looked in pretty good shape to me in the practice match also just off the eye test.

My worry is what will Lyon do if they are 0-3 or 0-4 and the forward line clearly isn't working, does Marshall just go to the square and they deal with a Ruckman having to battle his way through until King is fit?

I’m not convinced Campbell doesn’t start round 1 and impact Marshall from the get go, let alone rounds 3-4… time will tell, but I’m seriously thinking of starting Witts instead, with his bye also being a little bonus.

Tend to agree mate, unpopular opinion but a fit Campbell isn't that much of a downgrade on Marshall, alot better for the team than solo Rucking with a non existent forward line, these are his games over the last 2 years hes far from the hack that is being made out, some massive games.

Do you consider him a better option than English? English is just 19k more and doesn't have Jackson to split duties with. Not to mention Lobb has gone to the dogs so i don't think Sweet plays at all and it reduces the need to play English fwd at all. The knock on English is he's injury prone, but so is Darcy.
I like both.
Hard to split, the 19k saved by going Darcy could well seal the deal atm haha

Looking at Darcy scoring history only one elite year 118. Only young so guess hard to have multiple years as elite.

Which is the real Darcy 118 or last years 102. Probably in the middle somewhere?
Somewhere in between. Heavily interrupted preseason last year, couple of sub games in there, couple where he sat at FF also. That said lot of games with Meek that hurt his average big time also.

Which means Jackson is definitely a factor to consider, so take the 120 that he averaged when fit and take away 10-15 for Jackson and you get 105-110 range which is about right, throw in a little upside and you could get back towards 115 as a reasonable best case scenario this year if he stays fit (which applies to almost every other ruck as much or more so than Darcy).

Agree entirely, Campbell might be a better pure ruckman than Marshall and Lyon has never really valued what the rucks do around the ground, he always went for ruckmen first.

From a fantasy perspective it's bad but Marshall at FF and Campbell in the ruck makes way more sense than the opposite on field for the Saints, imo. Worse than that it makes more sense than Marshall with no Campbell and Owens at FF/CHF like they did last week.

It's definitely a reasonably expectable outcome for Marshall. The positive is he's not been terrible playing as a 2nd ruck forward so far and you'd expect once they get a couple of the KPF back that it would be over, so realistically even if he fails early, unless someone else is amazing you can probably hold until the brakes come off.

Hopefully Campbell plays this week and we can get an idea.

Rucks have been pretty easy for me this year…

English and Marshall have never left my side as they have the biggest upside in my opinion. Darcy the only other temptation but the Jackson effect has made me steer clear.

English’s interrupted preseason was a concern but there is enough ruck cover now that the reward now outweighs the risk for me.

Currently have McAndrew sitting at R3 and Ratugolea up forward along with Madden as the loophole option.

For the early parts of the season I will be trying my best to loophole Madden where possible, to avoid having a 40-50 on field from one of my rookies.

Rucks have definitely turned into one of the easiest lines for me personally.

Gawn could actually be a POD.
4% owned and people jumping off because of Grundy. 🤔
I am not convinced he will go backwards at all
Hard to see Gawn not going backwards a bit.

But the question is if not much is he still a viable option especially with a good chance to get early forward status. Yes could probably wait and see if he get forward and will probably be a bit cheaper then. But starting him gives you the chance to have a look at the other rucks swap him forward bring in the best preforming ruck while most scrambled to get Gawn as a forward.

English is definitely an option with the million trades this year.

With somewhere between 35 and a million trades I am thinking the Darcy and English combination is definitely an option … if I don’t run with Witts and Gawn …. or maybe Marshall and Grundy … or something completely different … I still have no idea really!
