But that’s kinda semantics and there is no real definition of a premium so I think you’re over complicating things if you don’t say your $500k defender you pick is not a premium in your side. He’s not a rookie, he’s not a mid pricer.
Plus he scored better than any other defender “premium” in the second half of last year
It wouldn't really be a fair representation of my team if I have Brandon Ellis and Sam Taylor and claim I have the same number of premiums as someone who has Sicily and Sinclair instead. I think it's fair enough to differentiate between actual premiums (players who don't need to improve their average to be good picks) vs. players $100k cheaper that you need significant improvement out of.to be keepers.

Looks a lot more like a natural footy player than Taranto for $30k less, and everyone is all over the later.

But Horse...
There is a massive Bias in supercoach towards players who change clubs. I personally think Taranto is a solid player but more of a fantasy player than a SC'er. Butters and Gulden are more of SC'ers IMO and better options.

Agreed priced at 127... no value there will drop 50k even if he maintains it. Starting teams are about value you can get the Laird types in later at a minimum $50k cheaper.
The trouble with that is finding the $650K as there will always be other problems you need to fix at the time so you end up missing him 😥
