He will be last resort at F8 for me if he’s in my team at all.

It's all well and good to spend an extra $40-80k on your bench; but that's taking away from the rest of your team.

Looks like a thin line between starting those quality rookie/value midfielders vs premium mids. I'd really like to start all of Hopper, Finn Cal, Ashcroft, Phillips and Mackenzie but I'm always reluctant to drop below 4 premium midfielders.

Cull them. Be ruthless.

It's looking like 1 or 2 more expensive rookies may have to start on bench? Eg, Phillips, Pou types.

I think this is going to be the case specifically in the mids.

For me the points on field are more value early especially when we're talking more expensive rookies.

Cash gen the most important aspect dont want to miss all of it because Im worried about a bench player being 150-180k over 120-140k.

It’s a balance IMO, cash gen doesn’t mean much if you’re so far back in the pack 6 rounds in. You’re not talking that much difference with regards to cash gen, maybe one or two players between the top 5k teams. You need to utilise the points on field whilst still having cash gen Early.

You dont have to have the best start if you complete your team faster because youve got better cash gen, you're going to fly past the teams that start well if you get that mix right.

I’d expect Voss to play early if not R1 for essendon. Jones doesn’t look up to it this pre season and he’s been great.
