Has anyone thought of going light with premos in the midfield? Running with 2 and a green. And the rest with rookies and a couple of mid pricers. Thats where most the value lies. Spend more in the defence and forwards where we need to field less rookies?
Yes considering.

Looking at Phillips on the bench.

There is so much value between 220-340k could be a massive trap, it doesn’t feel that way. Full of high draft picks ready to break out?
If you like players priced in that range, the MPM comp might be your thing. You can pick players between 200K and 450K. Maybe a better spot to pick them.

From putting together my team, I do agree there's plenty of potential value picks though. Couldn't choose everyone I wanted to!

Underwhelmed by Phillips … not sure he is start worthy tbh
Was my concern all pre season once they actually had their midfield playing, too many mouths to feed and the kid is always going to be the one that misses out.

Lot of overhype based on one trial game without their two best midfielders.

Bit of a headache those two games.

Cogs injury scare but played well in the 2nd half. 61% TOG so not concerned with the score. The ball was attracted to Finn anytime I watched. Not sure how much extra TOG is in him (played 66%) and role wasn't great, but otherwise looked good. Green 17CP+7CL, but the 61% TOG for Cogs and 68% TOG for Perryman could dampen that a tiny bit. No comment on Cumming who I'm very happy with, although Whitfield's first half was scary, receiving off half-back so much. Jelly looked great, but I can't go there. Looks like CBA's will be Green/Perryman/Cogs/Kelly (no Finn) for the most part, so that's good news for all of them (not Perryman but the other 3 anyway)

Flanders passes the eye test still, despite no CBA's. Like him a lot. Constable lock for at least bench spot. Long had a good ratio, but Macpherson taking too much ball for mine, at least that can rule Long out. Witts solid.

Assuming Cunnington played heavily mid (9 clearances) - it could be safe to assume he's too much a negative impact on LDU. Also think North will remain near the bottom but it's hard to tell since Dogs have always had such a dominant midfield. Sheezel classy. Goater quiet? Didn't watch most of the game. Phillips another that can get off the field as a few here have said.

Dogs just racked it up, nothing has changed there! Mclean role too poor, Liam Jones looked amazing... English not terrible, 6 clangers including at least 1 50m penalty would hurt the score. Bont locked. Another headache with Macrae who's role looked fine?

One more game to come and I'm positive it will give us more headaches :ROFLMAO:
