Looks like 11 or 12 starting premiums (including people like Green and Gulden) is the go this year, trying to fit in 12 with a nice balance of mid-pricers, not the easiest task.

Been trying to do it for two months! Finally settled for 11 prems, but would like another one.

I think there is value in premiums like Bont, Jelly, Green, Steele, all of the forward ones, potentially Ridley as well so in one iteration of my team I've tried targetting those first, you can squeeze in 12 if you forego starting with multiple $600k+ defender premiums (limit of one) or Laird/Oliver types, whilst still maintaining a decent mix of mid-pricers.

Have been trying to resist the Gulden hype but just can't anymore. Now to find a way to get him into F4 without compromising the structure I've had settled for a week

Both have potential to finish top 8 in their lines which is a decent outcome if it eventuates for their starting prices. Ridley I am not entirely sold on but there is upside if he is not going to be used as a lockdown defender at times like he was last season. Going 11 and an additional mid-pricer incurs its own risk of an extra mid-pricer failing, but may also allow for one less rookie.

Is Setterfield going to get bulk inside mid minutes? Not liking that Giansiracusa stated that he has the potential to play on every line. At Carlton he was pretty average outside of being an on baller, would have thought Essendon would play him in his best position full time.

I think he'll get to a reasonable amount of CBA's mixed in with Merrett, Parish, Shiels, etc. I also think he will play a different role than he did at Carlton. It's a risk, but that's what SC is about. Can't go with Bruhn as I don't think he is guaranteed a game in the Geelong side and I think Worpel will have flashy moments in an average side

Would be pretty stiff for Bruhn to miss out after such a solid pre-season, if he is selected, he might not get all the mid minutes though that he did get in the pre-season so that's definitely a concern.

Lipinski is probably a decent marker for some of the midpricers. Part time mid role, got to $460k at bye time. Setterfield and Bruhn would fall into this space.
