No talk of Cripps. No Walsh for awhile and Pittonet fit so should get off to a flyer.
Cripps the best POD atm, not in my side but he could be a great selection.

Would be interesting to see Cripps numbers with and without Pittonet. As he was rucking a bit around then plus TDK not a tap ruck. Carlton game plan tap as close to Cripps as possible let him do the rest.

De Goey or Mitchell, who does everyone think will score better this year for Collingwood?

I would probably save the 60K and choose De Goey if I was going to pick one of them to be honest (I'm not).
mitchell is the safer pick, but i feel jords could be in for a big season, he could go 110+ imo skys the limit for him if he can pull it all together.

As long as he doesn't get filmed eating baby seal meat sushi off a stripper's naked body whilst doing shots and some unknown white powder visible around the edge of his nose.

Cannot settle on my final mid spot for the life of me.

Oliver Bont and Green have been 99% of my tinkers so happy to lock them in, but M3 has been a constant revolving door between Jelly Macrae Cripps Steele.

Anyone else the same? Can find reasons to pick or pass on every single one of them.
Yep, it's been the critical piece for me as to whether I have strong rookies or not. I'm finding it hard to let go of the guy I want at M3 but I feel I need to.

I've locked in Laird, Oliver and Bont for my 3 main mids. All 3 are good C or VC options and all 3 should be top 10 mids come seasons end. Good luck.

Josh Kelly could get a new lease on life this year with a new coach. Was he played out of position much last year?

Would Bailey Smith's improvement have impacted him much?

Was used in a variety of roles with varying cba%s all last season. Based on the preseason game agains GC, looks like GWS have tightened their core midfield group to be Kelly, Cogs, Green, Perryman plus they ran O'Halloran and a couple others at various other times when these other blokes were resting. Might be the season where everything goes right with him, but we've been burnt before.

I can see this happening occasionally but would be surprised if a club kept mistakenly leaving one of their better players on the bench. Must have been a reason. They track players pretty closely.
I was watching a lot of their games and I do recall in a number of them that players were just getting stuck on the bench. Happened with Dunkley a few times too. Could have just been bad luck with the flow of play and scoring not allowing them to get the rotations they wanted? Perhaps it was just a symptom of their overloaded midfield with some new kids coming in to play roles?

This talk about him having fitness issues doesn't make sense to me personally because A) he is 28 and should still be at the peak of his powers football-wise and B) I don't recall not seeing him run out a game like he usually does last year when he was on the field and there were several where he did rescue his score with a late flurry of possessions.

Maybe others see something I don't, but I can't reconcile these sudden concerns that he's over the hill at 28 based on what I recall from last season.

Last two years I think.

Played as inside mid he's around 115ppg but always misses a few. Problem is I'm struggling to run him, Green and Finn through M4/M5/M6... they finished third bottom last year.

Are they going to be much closer to the 8 this year? Says a lot about Hopper and Taranto if they are!
