My Team needs improvement, but I don't know how to improve it?

Put Taranto in your fwd line over Allen, Mackenzie or Callaghan in his place in the midfield would be my suggestion

Done, wasn't sold on Allen but like his JS anyway he's gone.

Taranto forward and Mackenzie into the mids (couldn't afford Callaghan)

Gives me more cash itb also, now 52k

Looks like I've finished up with a very vanilla team, however I think every player deserves there spot.
Sadly I had to punt Lachie Hunter at M4 as I wanted Esava at F7 for some type of ruck back up.
Worpel and Fyfe become my sacrificial lambs for correction trades but willing to take that punt.
Bont into Laird for VC and C this week'
Think I'm all set until team selections throws a spanner in the works.

Seem to be a bit different going a 5 premium midfield with Green at M5. Havent gone the mid pricers apart from Yeo. No Callaghan etc. Old schooler I guess. Enough tinkering until the teams drop.

Have gone nuts with it and now decided I just want players that football good that I love to watch and players with good redemption/comeback stories. I had TT and Hopper in my team and when I booted them I felt so much better, I just don't like watching them play and they have their 7 year contracts so they are set, I'd prefer the journey man who is fighting for his spot in Setterfield.
So this is my crazy risky team that I'm pretty sure I'll run with,
or should I say squad as I have money on the pine in the midfield.
Also have $300k in the kitty.
Crazy rating from 1 - 10 with ten being bat**** crazy

Wow that's a unique team! Have not seen a team with Will Day in it, definitely a unique pick. As you mentioned there's too much money on the bench, especially in the midfield, I'd downgrade those to get another premium or 2 in the midfield.
What makes you think Clark will take the next step?

Here's the final iteration before teams drop.

Main decision for me is Ridley + Neale or Stewat + Jelly, gone with the latter.....for now.

Have had Bruhn, Flanders and co in and out, but faded for now, too many unknowns and have some risk in there already in Gulden.

What structure is everyone looking at in terms of keepers out of interest? Keepers not to include the likes of Bruhn/Setters/Hopper/Ziebell/Fyfe etc - $450k and up. I'm not seeing much from the defender rookies and can see some pain down back with limited bail out options being available if some are dropped/injured. Might be being a little cautious but what's people gut feel a couple of days out?

What makes you think Clark will take the next step?

Will Day is so clean he doesn't need much of it to score well, he played 'ok' in the practice game on limited TOG 68%, 20 touches for a score of 88. He is playing in the midfield.

Clark is definitely a maybe. The ball is in his court, he's now in the starting midfield at the Aints due to their injuries so if he wants it its time to ante up. Practice game he only scored 78 but the role was there, 42% cba attended, 15CP, 4CL at a woeful 50% DE which he is much better than that. As I said in my team listing I'm barracking for the story, the underdog, the not made it yet...yada yada
Could be good maybe not??

Very similar to a side I'm happy with. No concerns at all.

You might be able to flick McLean and grab Ollie Hollands or Bytel if they start well by shifting Davey forward. Removes your DPP link, but you'll find ways to re-open it later.

I'm actually the polar opposite, very happy with the defensive rookies at this point and like the group a lot. At this point only Ashcroft, Mackenzie and maybe McLean are better than the Jones, Cole, Ginbey, McKenna, Constable et al group.

Current mix is 0/5(Green)2/4.

If the rookies don't surface will go with Stewart most likely (Doch plays too early I expect).

The question is whether there will be the 2 or so extras to justify taking all the above-mentioned as on-field picks, realistically need to have 1 or 2 DEF rookies outside the starting side, so right now looking at basically 4 of Wilmot, Chesser, Fahey, Cowan, Goater, Crozier, Stocker, Michalaney, Weddle, McVee, Bergman, Young and Cincotta making the cut and looking good, some of these look much better than others.

Forward rookies I'm genuinely struggling to find a starter. Mids have about 4 and then sweet nothings.

It's funny, it's actually a really strong rookie group but the starter options look very thin on the ground at all positions but I think DEF looks deepest in that regard.

Current mix is 0/5(Green)2/4.

Same premium structure for me at the moment, just Macrae is M5 for me. Tend to agree with the assessment of the rookie landscape.

F5 the sticking point. Flanders currently occupies the spot, but not sure, fall short of Fyfe/Bruhn/Ziebell unless I make a cull of a Mackenzie/McLean to a cheaper option, or revert Neale back to Steele or further down to Green.
