Really makes you think hard about players like Callaghan, Bruhn, Flanders, Fyfe, Setters, Ash - Worpel maybe. These really hurt because if they're not getting points on the field they're not making money. I know you could say it about most picks but this range really looks like the hurt locker. But on the flip it...

Yeah good little timely reminder. The people going with 5+ in that 250-350 range more than likely setting themselves up for a bit of heartbreak here and there.

If it pays off and they all fire then good luck to them, just not my year haha.

That's great info from Brice Mitchell, cheers for posting it @Connoisseur (y)
The inverse of this is you're not getting potential scores of 30 on field with dud rookies, plus the more rookies on field the worse quality rookies you have on the bench who might be a game away from getting dropped and not getting anywhere near $150k cash gen.

Also gives pause for thought on Green/Gulden/Daicos types. Either they score as premos or they're a wasted pick.
Add Ridley who is becoming super popular.
Yep all those need to be keepers or pretty much a fail.

The $300-$350 guys different story, need to make $100-$150K and keep a 40-50 average rookie off field.

Also believe the $150k made on a rookie is a bit of a myth, yes ideally that is a good profit and some make much more but how many do we trade for $100K. Letting a cow make that extra $20-30k is sometimes a mistake if it takes weeks to achieve.

With the extra trades also makes the $150K even less important.

Someone talk me me out of Cripps.

Argument to say he’s underpriced at 611k, and underowned at 12%?

I normally (for good reason) steer clear of brownlow winners following the medal, but this feels like a rare contrarian option….

Can’t he is a great pick and a bit of a POD.

One thing people maybe worried about is the Teauge years returning. So ****e forgot how to spell his name.
