Yeo is 29 (old man in footy terms), played only 27 games total in last 3 years, and calf is the old man's injury. I don't think they will rush him back, may be multiple weeks then a greater injury risk when he does return.

Went Yeo and Setterfield to Sicily and Sheezel. Leaves me with 4 players in that 220k - 340k band but used up a fair portion of my spare change. Only 40k left now but it feels a bit better to have 9 keepers (and 3 premium breakout candidates).

Could maybe take Young instead of Sicily who I think is maxed out, coming off a career year and pushing 30 but gee Sic is going to get a lot of work this year....

Massive news. Probably means Gulden down to Fyfe for me. Good for the game as we’ll see a bit of diversity in the mad scramble over the next 48 now.

I would have thought that was a risk. Fyfe is injury prone too, although he is in my side. Gulden so much better

Clark is an option but I think I'll go with Setterfield (Constable from M9 to D6, Phillips from M8 to M9). I reckon better upside.

Yeo and Fyfe are accidents waiting to happen. One has. Basic G'nR my side now is. Befits my belief in the game regardless of the trades we now have. You can have 40 and still blaze away. 2c.

I like this and think i’ll do similar with Worpel over Setterfield. With Davey fwd and Constable back it makes for an easy restructure if another Def or Fwd mid-pricer puts hand up early (such as Bowes / Bruhn types) and Setters/Worpel/Sheed type fails.

Not sure if I want to hold or not but one potential option is to swing mid def to def, mid fwd to mid and bring in Ziebell with the idea to rotate him to def after 6 rounds.

Suppose it depends on the other def options around Yeo's price.

Possibly the best solution I have heard .I went for Dawson and Baker and faded fyfe as well as yeo reluctantly ,but I do like ur move
