Now having attended Hogwarts and getting my degree in Slytherin Language Interpretation (Sli for short) and got my major in Ross Lying subdialect, let my decipher what Ross really means.
Campbell/Marshall. Well it really means Tom is just going to keep on running into Darcy in the ruck contests to make as much contact as possible until he knocks himself unconscious. Our on ballers have been practicing ruck sharking sims all week and we have no intention of getting Marshall hurt.
Membrey. He will be out for 8 weeks minimum but for some reasons (other than just being a ****) I don’t want to tell you that.
Windhager. Put a line through him. He was never going to play and will be a late out. “Expected to train” and “ be available for selection” are standard Slytherin for “maybe the opposition will actually believe me and be deceived” which is total BS and no one believes that. Here is how the after game presser will go:
Journo When did you make the decision on Windhager?”
RL I didn’t make the decision. I did not know anything about it. I just turned up in the rooms and I was told he did not come up and that was the first I knew about it. I don’t see or speak to the players on match day until they turn up in the rooms. Some times I don’t even speak to the players during the week. I’m only speaking to you because I have to -alright?
Journo Will he play next week.
RL I don’t know. I’m not a doctor. Why would you ask me that? You would need to talk to the medical people. I don’t know anything about it. Are you a doctor? Maybe we should be asking you. You seem to know more about it than anyone else in this room.
Caminiti and the Pou. Look I really hate playing rookies okay. But since I have taken over as head of performance and conditioning and started using the program that I learned at the Dockers, everyone of these soft buggers has broken down. So, I will have to play them. Really I thought they might be ready maybe round 21 or 22. Oh I mean next year not this year too
