I really don’t understand the reluctance to do away with a draw and play extra time so you get a result in a professional competition where winning is the objective. Tonight is a case in point where a thrilling game concluded with a very unsatisfactory ending for everybody.

Extra time would have been fantastic and when that change is finally made we will all wonder why it wasn’t made years ago. Easy choice for mine.
Many comments on a draw, not sure why? Whats wrong with a draw? imagine if our game was like soccer? play for another hour before a team scores a goal? A draw is part and parcel of our game.
Yet, so many other rules have changed completely over the years whats one more rule change, eh?
I think the draw is a valid part of the game, I understand the changes in relation to the finals, especially being a Saints supporter😂 but during the home and away games, its just an extra element of suspense and drama that adds to the enjoyment and vibe of the game regardless of a team winning or losing.

Why are you allowed to hurl abuse at a player at the football? You would be arrested anywhere else. And they wonder why there are so many problems in our society.
Agree…half the issue is still allowing alcohol 🍺 to be consumed in your seats, the Collingwood supporter downing the Jim beam can and thumping the fence when Henry got the free kick a perfect example….
The ugly side of footy….we are all passionate for our teams but some people do not know the line…
