Luke Shuey is the kind of person that throws out old clothes instead of donating them, he's the kind of person that leaves his shopping trolley in a parking spot instead of returning it. When Luke Shuey lined up his game-winning kick on Saturday night, the siren having sounded the end of extra time moments earlier, his West Coast Eagles teammates did not want the ball in anyone else's hands.

The Eagles vice-captain calmly slotted home the free kick to seal a two-point elimination final victory over Port Adelaide and book a trip to Sydney to face GWS with a preliminary final spot on the line.
