He was good, had a ton of intercepts off half back and pushing up onto the wing as the Suns were dump kicking it from their half back line all night. Was probably close to double figures in spoils as well and would have been in more than a few scoring chains.

Played: S Docherty, J Hopper, T Bruhn, H Sheezel, R Ginbey, J Horne-Francis, C McKenna, J Dunkley, W Ashcroft, T English, M Bontempelli (VC), C Constable and S Flanders

Only one rookie left from the nine remaining players, with six in the $500,000+ range, one of those receiving the captaincy duties and two more midpricers. Fantastic start all round with W Ashcroft the lowest scoring player on 55. Cheap forward line has worked a treat so far and Ziebell and Chandler will be knocking down the door to replace Bruhn and Flanders/Hopper in the early rounds.

After a poor run with selecting players from Port in previous seasons, it was great to see Horne-Francis deliver straight up and hopefully there is more where that came from.

Most of the rookies scoring about 50s as expected and most of the premos getting 100s. Some last minute tinkering today made me lose Sheezel & Witts. But it also got me to take Jones out from my team. So all in all, pretty satisfied with the score.

10 players to play tmr including captain.

I've taken the same in Witts and Marshall. I did like English but I was worried about his injury history over the last couple of seasons and I'm the same as you with Gawn, unsure of how Grundy is going to effect his scoring? Still hoping Gawn does get R/F status at some stage so I can trade him in up forward and that will tie up any issues I have with my rucks.

Nice get with JHF. He looked good today. Could be my replacement for Hopper if JHF plays well next week and Hopper stinks it up again.
