If you're projecting him as a 110ave player he's on his way down to sub 550k and you'd be mad to pick him up before he bottomed out properly. I imagine most people who started him or are considering targeting him early have him down as a 125+ player. If he averages that from here he'll drop 50k quickly but then even out. 50k discount at this time of year is not worth bending your team for.
I'm not projecting him to average 110, that's the SC projections for the next two weeks vs Richmond and Port.

People keep seizing on individual aspects when its a more complete picture I'm trying to paint - ie. he tons up next week and then potentially has another low scoring game in a bad loss to Port in round 3.

If that comes to pass then the initial drop will be much steeper and and he'll be facing a higher BE and probably decent drop in round 4 and that's why I'm at least thinking about possible moves involving Laird.

I didn't see the game, but what was wrong with the Flanders role? His heat map has him getting touches all over the ground.
Nothing wrong with the role and looked like he was in the Suns 2nd midfield group, some issues with his ability to take advantage of it and have some impact with his disposal but that Swans midfield is going to be a tough beat for anyone so I'm sticking with him for this week to see how he goes against Essendon.

I've done Stewart to Ridley.

Will think on the second trade until a last minute panic turns someone I hadn't intended to trade out into a player I have never heard of.

My main goal of this week is to set myself up such that I can make corrections if needed in Wk 3

Current possible wk 3 corrections are:
Fyfe
H Clark
Goater

Then the cheap end ones like Chesser, Constable, Cowan, Baker, Greene

Mid price trade in targets look like: JHF, Setterfield (++tba)
Cheaper trade in targets maybe: Callaghan, Peddlar, Phillips, Menzie, Michelanney, Chandler, Henry, maybe McInnes, Wilmott, Uwland, Comben?

My initial thought is that next week I'll want to be rid of Fyfe, Clark, Chesser and Greene, and currently would like to think they'd be replaced with JHF, Callaghan and 2 of Phillips/Peddlar/Chandler

So maybe Clark-JHF (or similar) this week?

Non Callaghan owners, with Jelly out for a week and Perryman injured (not sure for how long), is he now a serious trade in target for this week? cbas could be increasing from the one he had late in the game last weekend and their run is still pretty good.
Would love to bring him in but bigger issues at present….namely getting sheezel in…
at 244k could be a nice downgrade from hopper or bruyn.

12 (of 19) of his possessions in the last quarter when game well and truly over which influences that heat map. Played HF role and not as high as previous games.

Noticeable in preseason games where Touk played, Flanders role was less of a link up man.

Made my team on a little bit of FOMO, his up and down game outlook (easy/hard) suggests he could be 80 in easy games and 40-60 in hard ones. Think he could be a slow burn. Against Essendon we will see at least more what his ceiling looks like.

Maybe Bruhn to Sheezel this week, worried Bruhn is subbed off, just need Sheezel to match Bruhn score.

That gives plenty of cash for next week and watch Jones, Ziebell, JHF, Bowes, Hopper and a few rookies

Bruhn to sheezel is a no brainer. Bruhn can’t run out a game and his named on a wing for tomorrow.

This has a lot of value if, like me, you've gone thin in defense. I currently am without Sheezel, not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on him this week or next week.
Super friendly supercoach roll will make some serious coin while giving you decent on field scores, high job security pretty much ticks all the boxes even easier if you own bruhn.
