The question now for those of us with Gawn is whether to proceed with current trades or to reconsider and take into account Gawns injury

You have to take the injury into account; I reckon the most likely outcome is at least 3+ weeks; which has to be a trade. Maybe more info tomorrow morning?

If Gawn finishes on zero, does anyone remember if the Sub score will come on to the ground even if he's played?

IIRC in RDT it used to work but the 0 always stands in SC, is that right?

It’s rookie corrections this week for me, I have Ratugolea + Darcy Cameron so I’ll ride it out a week at least for sure. Can’t keep that cash tied up for long though.

Back to supercoach, anyone know how many of the top 50, 100, 1000 have Gawn?

Same, when I did my first I basically knew I'd done it from the sound but played a couple more weeks with it, then did the MCL and LCL and that hurt like hell.

Second time I did the ACL I went a full wipe on the knee, was brutal!

Still hurts a LOT less than getting hit by a car though, so there's that.

I got very lucky. Played two games and didn't feel quite right. Went to the doc and he thought my knee was OK, but sent me for an MRI as a precaution. Had a complete tear, but no damage to anything else.🍀

He may look bad tonight but his effort at the Gabba last year was also poo. The big o is one of the ruck types he struggles against in the ruck and I reckon the humidity or something saps him too, negating his main strength.

He'll drop his price now and may be value in a few weeks

Given how well Gawn scored last week, probably a lot of them have him. But I don't think that info would be worth much at this stage. The top team has 4 DNPs on the bench and didn't even bother to set their Emergencies properly.

I just realized, with a chuckle to myself, that 1 hour before the game, I moved Gawn to the bench, and Madden onto the field.




Had I left it that way, and not swapped Gawn and Marshall 5 minutes later, I could have traded in D Cameron, and avoided the donut! 🙄
