Ashcroft, Wilmot, Dunkley and McKenna all doing solidly or well, no complaints there.

Neale vc scored 100, and as much as I would like to bank the points for safety, I still think Laird is going to bust out a big score today.

It’s going to be 24 degrees according to the generic google search, so fingers crossed he gets some leather poisoning today.

Last week:
Doch (VC) so went Laird (C) 👎
This week:
Gawn (VC) 👎
Scared to pick a (C)… Laird, Green, Libba or even Gulden?
I bought Laird for his consistency as a captain option. Can’t be baulking at one game if we are going to keep him in our teams. Once you get one captain right, your fears will go away.

I'm not going to tell anyone whether or not to take Dunkley (it's right on the edge for me) but I'm surprised at the amount of recency bias I'm seeing in coming to that decision.

The total amount of points remains unchanged, so too the cut that goes to the best players on the ground. Maybe the needle has moved on Laird but I would think most coaches still have 2-3 players they picked for the purposes of getting a better C score than that.

My apologies if you own Laird and/or Bont because I guarantee I have activated the karma bus with this post!

I think all the people that traded these players out, including the ones who traded out Gawn are playing for the weekly prize. They believe that these players have had their spike score and they are chasing the next big score. Unfortunately they got one of them right.
Can gawn be covered by the emergency ???

Played: S Docherty, T Bruhn, C McKenna, K Chandler (new recruit), W Ashcroft and J Dunkley

Yet to play:
Saturday: J Horne-Francis, J Dawson, J Hopper, R Laird (VC), M Bontempelli (C), T English, H Clark, R Marshall, J Steele, A Brayshaw, J Ziebell (new recruit) and H Sheezel
Sunday: C Mackenzie, C Constable, R Ginbey and S Coniglio (new recruit)

Great showing tonight especially from K Chandler on debut. Big day in store tomorrow for my side with Sheezel the only rookie to play and hopefully it is not a repeat of last Sunday from my premiums. Especially looking forward to Horne-Francis backing up his RD1 score with another ton.
Gawn when not in your team. 0.

Risk/Reward.

Happy playing it a bit safer in early rounds.
