Strategy 2023: Round 3 Trades

Rd 2 is personally the worst round for an injury I find, especially to a ruck, as I always plan ahead with any Rd 2 trades to use 3 trades in Rd 3 on getting in key players before their first price rise.
On most lines, you can bench an injured player for a rookie for a week, a ruck injury is different. As most people are running a team with a donut ruck and no cover (myself included), it means you either miss out on one key player before price changes this round, or cop a donut.
Gawn getting injured has given me a dilemma in 2 of 3 teams I am running (unofficial teams, not entered on site). Luckily I have the Rat for some minimal cover in one of those teams for a week, but there will need to be some reprioritising to do in the other one. As I had already made 3 changes in Rd 2 that I liked in that team, and have Gawn locked on field no matter what, it's probably not worth changing the Rd 2 trades.
Lots of thinking to do before next Thursday.

Bar injuries, Bruhn, Hopper, Clark and Chesser on the chopping block over the next two rounds to possibly use a boost for the quartet of J Ziebell, O Hollands, N Daicos and J Bowes (via Constable) to replace them. Depending on performances and rookies, Bruhn to a fwd premium could be my sole trade next round or even running a three rookie forward structure. Fall a few thousand short of using two trades for Clark and Bruhn to Daicos and Ziebell.
