Have we come to a consensus around Constable V Chesser as an out this week? Personally leaning toward keeping Chesser and praying for a spike. Can’t see Constable getting back in short term and might provide a valuable downgrade later on.

Have been unable to keep up with news this week so leaning on common opinion for this one a bit.
Not sure about common opinion, but my thought is the same as yours, ie keep Chesser & sacrifice Constable.
Chesser looks like he'll get a decent run.

It's a tough season mate. Really hard to keep a straight mindset, last night after the Cameron injury I just tuned out of all SC resources - slowly dealing with another week that hurts, I know there's been plenty of us that have taken a big hit each round for the first three rounds but is what it is. Keep plugging away, I was close to be caught with LDU, only swapped it late morning and I would've had him Captain also. Doesn't help, but you're certainly not alone.

Wow things got a bit crazy ....

Time to reflect.

With Cameron and LDU I'm now thinking this way

#35 Lock in VC.
Baker E on the bench. Concern is constable is named as sub, ruins the loop and cash generation destroyed.?

Now thinking Gulden into the MIDS for Constable and Chandler into the FWD line.

Leave Sheezel Pedlar Chandler on field. F4- F6.

I went with:

Macrae -> Setterfield
Steele -> Daicos
Callaghan -> LDU

Macrae obviously goes well and looked a heap better than he had.
Then wasn't able to catch the start of the Roos game to see the late out :|
*Had Baker as E so didn't need to worry about Hopper's 0 on field... Had to cover LDU with Phillipou, could have been worse I guess..
Daicos was good again though, and love watching him play!

I am nervous about letting Chandler slide, and am giving S Darcy one last chance (glad I didn't go for Cameron though!)
Probably my worst start to a season in 10 years, poor captain choices and unlucky injuries, but overall my team isn't even that bad imo.
Tough game sometimes!

I still haven't decided between constable and chesser. If constable is sub then he definitely stays...otherwise?

Same position for me.

I have Chesser out currently. Two 20s in a row doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence that he’ll generate much cash, albeit he was a high draft pick.

Constable can at least score when given the opportunity.

I wouldn’t mind if he was sub so that I could grab some quick cash this round, and cross fingers that he secures a spot.

Jack Buckley seems to be one who really got away...I mentioned him a few days back but talked myself out of him for Setterfield instead, pity.

That DT:SC ratio scares the heck of me.

If that's sustainable I'll still look to pull the trigger on him, but it'll take a lot of mulling this week.

I think the train has left the station. I was lucky enough to jump on last week, footage from the previous two games was excellent, coaches will love him. He's a good player, does a bit of everything, intercepts, good unhurried disposal and decision making, has wheels for a big guy (chased down Jayden Hunt last week leading to a turnover) so gets into chains so uncontested possession stuff, has very good positioning. JS is very good I think, though worth noting he was a late in in the first round for Aleer, but has played very well since so likely in the 22. Started on field this week despite being named on the bench. The big kicker is that he is playing lockdown, and not getting any kick ins, and will rise $70k this week. There's a chance he will go another $150 k from here given he's a really good player but a lockdown/non-kick-in player its probably an outlier outcome.

He becomes a mid pricer now after being a high end rookie. Debatable as an intial selection, POD clever before round 2 and risky play (at best) as a round 4 trade in.
