I'm going to risk Constable on field, to get Baker's 95.
Amazingly, my only players not locked after Saturday night are Ginbey, Chandler and Constable, so I just have to risk it, and cross my fingers and toes!
Just realised I'll have kinda this problem as well

Here goes the current iteration of the rookie plan for this week...

E on Greene in the forward line. If he puts up a decent 60+ (kicks straight and maybe it happens) then before the GWS game starts, swap Madden onto the field, swap Gulden to the mids with A Davey and bench Davey at F8. The Gulden goes on field and Constable goes to the bench. If he doesn't score more than Davey might, Davey comes on field in the mids.

If I've played Greene and if Constable is a donut (not sub), I can swap him with Ginbey to take Wilmot's score... maybe? You'd think Ginbey is probably 70/30 to beat a 69 anyway so maybe there is not much point. I'd much rather bench Davey for Ginbey but that means just risking Constable on field down back.

Shrug, can't keep up with this nonsense

Lachie Weller comes back from an ACL after only 9 months, surely couldve given Constable a little more time to settle in! Weller looked sharp and quick last week, still running hard in the last when i tuned in dont see Constable coming back too soon. Those donuts can gather quick on the bench!
Iv traded Constable to Setterfield.
Was always going to be him or Chesser, whichever was dropped first.

Yeah this. Even if he is named sub, doesn't mean he will get game time (even though the odds are stacked against this scenario as injury is not required to use the sub - can be a strategic sub).
So why doesn't the AFL be strategic and just make it a 5 man bench and be done with it? What purpose does a sub serve now no medical issue is required?

Oh sorry, my bad. We are talking the AFL here aren't we.

Sorry if this has been asked, if I traded Chesser out already, if I trade Constable back to Chesser - it doesn’t cost me a trade? Or does it.

If a team loses a player early to injury then the other team has an advantage. 23 on 22. Keeping it at 22 each is fairer.

Obviously, there will be games where more than one injury occurs. Still 22 v 20 is fairer than 23 v 20.

Yes…only because they are playing the saints whom give up points….

was considering bringing in Brennan Cox instead whom saves 60k and higher ceiling…
but that might have to wait…
This might be why I hate this game.

When Brennan Cox who has scored 7 tons in his previous 6 seasons with a high of 119 is now a "higher ceiling" player, based on two games.

I look at it and think "there is no way", but there is every chance you are right...

Is D Cam captain crazy instead of Clarry, Laird, Nacois, Marshall ?
Depends on your risk appetite.

What would be the best case scenario for D Cameron comparative to the rest and on the flip side what would be the worst case scenario for all.

Go for Laird or Oliver given the high initial spend without the unnecessary risk placed on Cameron.
