I passed up Taranto's 111 to get Lairds 83.
115 is usually my cut off in this comp, but might need to look at 110 given some of the inconsistency we're seeing.

I passed on Daicos's 100 to get Laird's lousy 83, who'dve thought he'd score so insipidly in such a hard fought derby.
Happy enough with his SC score though lol

I captained Laird after realising I didn't have a loop. It was Laird or Oliver. 🙄

Well that was the wrong move, Oscar on 53 at the end of the 1st quarter. Don't think I'll be fielding Rat again. 🙄

Think Oliver is a standout in this format, averaging 128 from three of the toughest midfield opponents.

LDU is averaging 116 from two fairly light match-ups, I expect a considerably lower average compared to Oliver here.

At this stage I have locked in

1. D. Cameron > Grundy. Bypassing English and taking the value route of Grundy, who has a favourable role and run ahead.
2. Phillipou > Bowes (via Constable). I like this trade as it allows me to bench both Cowan/Wilmott for the near future while generating coin.

Now with 88k at hand, I also have the opportunity of using a boost and upgrading Noah Anderson to Josh Kelly. Although I'm debating whether it's worth pulling the trigger and hope Anderson returns to form. However, if I don't perform this move now I'll likely have to hold Anderson until the byes... which is a problem if he continues to underperform.
