Gulden as a 470k forward averaging 103 with a low score of 85 and people are wanting his head? *** is going on in Supercoach these days?
If he's your biggest problem you should be sitting comfortably in the top 100 imo.
I looked back through and I think I'm the only person in this thread who has floated a Gulden out.

He's a good premium option and has performed fine, just like the rest of my premium options. I have no underperformers. I've decided I'm going to take drastic measures to get Oliver, and Gulden, a good premium option, is just one of a few guys that could unfortunately make way. Definitely not wanting his head.

EDIT: I'm looking more closely at Cogs and Doch now, two other good premium options that could unfortunately make way. Gulden is probably safe.

I need to fix some major leaks in my team:

Currently:

Docherty, Cumming, Ridley, Daicos, McKenna, Wilmont (Chesser, Cowan)
Bont, Petracca, Worpel, Callaghan, Hopper, Ashcroft, Ginbey, Mackenzie (Phillipou, Baker, Constable)
Darcy, Marshall (Rategulea)
Dunkley, Taranto, Rozee, Gulden, JHF, Sheezel (Chandler, Madden)

Current Bank $122,000

Thinking trades:

Docherty, Worpel, Callaghan to Titch, Green, Phillips

Would leave:

Daicos, Cumming, Ridley, Ginbey, McKenna, Wilmont (Chesser, Cowan)
Bont, Petracca, Green, Titch, Hopper, Ashcroft, Phillips, Mackenzie (Phillipou, Baker, Constable)
Darcy, Marshall (Rategulea)
Dunkley, Taranto, Rozee, Gulden, JHF, Sheezel (Chandler, Madden)

Current ranking is 60k, so feel, I'm not going to get any where playing the long game.

Docherty is effectively collateral damage, but if he can turn it around, he can always be traded in later again as a normal upgrade.

Ideally Oliver would come in, but the only way to get him is to go Oliver and Setterfield as an alternative, but would still have to deal with Setterfield later as he is unlikely to be a 'keeper'.

Wasn't a dig at you specifically, people were saying it in the game thread as well over the weekend, and on BF too.
I guess they were more aimed at his slow start to the game, he certainly fired late to salvage a score imo.

I'd say Cogs - options to switch Docherty to aren't as clear

If I did not have other problems I would love to do this 🤔 Just don't know who to trade out Cameron to English or Grundy?

Feel like bit of treading water atm. Got a few options atm, dunno which way to go

Cameron - English (1 trade)
Cameron & Callaghan - English and Chandler (missed first rise)
Cameron & Callaghan - Grundy and Buckley (something a little different otherwise not gonna make up ground)

Only thing I’d say is that if a game is iced early, it doesn’t necessarily mean Oliver is going to go huge. There’s other guys in that Dees midfield that can dominate things and potentially take points from Oliver.

I’m resigned to taking a few hits from Oliver’s big scores until I can afford him in. I certainly wouldn’t be trading someone like Gulden for him though, who may end up a top 8-10 Forward premium.

As for my trades, I think I might do my best not to trade this week unless a good opportunity comes up. Feel like I’m in an ok place with potentially 29 green lights (plus madden).

If Docherty starts scoring well again, he won't be much cheaper than where he is now.
A big IF there when we know oliver is a must have. Ive watched docs games the way his going he wont be a must have. He will ave more around his 21 season 95-100. It will be pretty hard to bring oliver in if he stays past 700k

There's a lot of decent POD options around Callaghan's price point:
Joel Amartey $223,000 FWD AVG 100 (2 games) BE -72
Jack Buckley $275,900 DEF AVG 91.3 (3 games) BE -40
Sam Petrevski-Seton $281,600 FWD AVG 94 (2 games) BE -27
Hayden Crozier $218,500 DEF AVG 72.5 (2 games) BE -20
Mitch Owens $297,800 FWD AVG 83 (3 games) BE -2
Massimo D'Ambrosio $277,500 DEF AVG 78.5 (2 games) BE 2
Liam Stocker $258,900 DEF AVG 72.7 (3 games) BE 4

Then you have some more popular options:
Jack Bowes $277,500 DEF AVG 84.5 (2 games) BE -10
Liam Jones $236,300 DEF AVG 49.7* (3 games) BE -9
*AVG of 72 when not including the injury affected game

Leaning towards Buckley, still don't trust Amartey's JS.
Was going to ask if someone had thought of any of these options, so thank u for beating me to it

Personally i like the look of Buckley, Bowes(all that preseason hype cant be for nothing right?)
And Sam P-S, (his JS would be through the roof right now right?)

I hope I didn't sound too passive-agressive :ROFLMAO:

What is happening on this thread? Doc, Touk and Marshall being talked about as trade outs, and not as restructures before price changes but just because? You guys need a Valium
I agree, but let them go for it. Either way, it’s going to be a great story or very entertaining for the rest of us!

Correcto.

You sack Docherty for Laird, not Oliver. Laird has had his price drop ;)

But yeah... Doc probably won't be a top 6 defender this year and I'll have to punt him at some stage. 2 ACLs, cancer, developed by Brisbane under Vossy and so on. He's unlikely to have crazy longevity and he's 30 at the end of the season. Perhaps his decline is starting a year earlier than for some

Reckon he'll have a pretty decent run of games at some stage this year though so I'll hold on until they come round. He's one of the ones contributing to my round 15 bye issues so I may as well hold him til then and maybe slingshot out of him then
