Not ideal using another boost, but you could argue the below adds two extra premiums to my side?

You might be adding 2 premiums but trading out 3 potential premiums.
Setters is averaging 100+, Young might turn it around if Freo can, Hopper is capable of tonning up.

Are you fielding any 40s or 50s averaging players? I'd be looking to upgrade around those 3 unless theare injured or losing a stack of cash.

Personally feels forced to me, you're basically trading upside for upside and at the cost of another boost. Last week I was hesitant to use a second boost to bring in Clarry, English, T.Young for Neale, Callaghan, DCam. But the return for my trade was 2 legit premos for the price of 1 + 1 injured mid-pricer ruck. It put me at an advantage.

LDU's great but Stewart's already shown us he's not poised to go 110+ every game. What happens if either of them get injured? I'd be kicking myself burning that boost. At the end of the day, go with your gut.

The hits keep coming!
Was going to hold to see how things went with Walsh and Kennedy back. Not now!
The candidates as it sits atm!
Yeo subbed out and no CBA’s needs more time to gather data.
Day rubbed out for 2 weeks puts a strike through him.
Ryan in doubt as well!
Sicily and Sinclair have high BE’s so probably not this week either!
The cupboard is starting to look a little bare!

Lloyd’s scores look good, has he got his seagull role back?

Maybe Upto Dawson or Stewart, maybe down to Duncan, Rioli, Baker or Saad?
decisions, decisions!

No will day! Jones survives another week. Will trade him to Ziebell the following week once he gets def status

I think I'm going chesser to samson Ryan. Ryan should get a run of games with a lack of options. It gives me some minimal ruck coverage. Doesn't make my side worse!

I won't complain since I don't own Doc, but also makes it hard to move anyone on. :censored::LOL:

I'm going to resist trading Cogs, who has a BE of 167 ( ) but gets Hawks this week. Not a super great midfield matchup or anything, but certainly a good matchup in general and GWS should win, so surely Cogs is good for at least a 100 (hopefully 120+!)

Waiting Will Day suspension news, but probably too hard to grab him anyway. Would be possible next week so that would be ideal.

At this stage I'm looking at Davey (BE -1, so definitely hasn't peaked but hopefully not missing much cash generation) to EVR.
I'm fairly confident I want to move on Baker and Mackenzie next week (yay upgrade season) so would like to grab EVR this week for someone.

If things go amazingly (Cowan 75+, Ginbey not rested) - I'll move Liam Jones to Young - but I highly doubt that scenario eventuates.

Round 6 trades would almost definitely be Dylan Williams in (assuming holds his spot) and an upgrade to someone in defence (Day?) via Constable.
Who's EVR?

Completely fine with these trades if you have enough saved up.

You get 2x bonafide premos plus an opportunity to generate cash in JVR. Setterfield is the only one I'd consider holding for longer to see if can squeeze out another decent score or two. Hopper hasn't scored too well with his side's best ruckman in & now he's roving to part-timers; I'm not holding my breath that he will improve on his average.

If JVR were a certainty to have 4 weeks of footy locked in from here then I'd say absolutely go for it, but there's that nagging job security doubt I have with him that has me questioning the pick.

Is it time to move Setterfield on? 97 BE. Hard to see a spike game in the next 3 weeks with opponents Melbourne, Collingwood & Geelong.
I am. Always feels risky to make this kind of trade because he's definitely capable of a spike game that really hurts you (both points and cash) but he has done the job I got him for and I have the chance to do it now so think it's a worthwhile move.

Man I have to check my BEs more closely. Didn't know Setters was up to 97 already. (Edit: it's actually 85)

Doc to Michalanny and Chesser to Pickett. Only Constable and R3 not making me money out of the rookies and mids. Baker to Johnston next week could get me setterfield to someone perhaps
