Regardless of whether Day's suspension is upheld or not, I'm considering the below but worried about van Rooyen's JS.

Soooo many options. I have Nank and Doc to deal with. Others on the chopping block are Callaghan and Ridley. Really don’t want to use a boost but I feel like I might have to.

Option 1:
Nank>English
Doc>Daicos
Callaghan>Ryan
+$44.6k

I’m probably leaning towards this option as it gives me the 2 players hurting me the most and also Ryan in the FWD line able to cover the RUC line if required.

Option 2:
Nank>Darcy/Grundy
Doc>Daicos
+$47-54k

Option 3:
Nank>English
Doc>Barrass
+$49k

Option 4:
Nank>Ryan (R2)
Doc>Daicos
Ridley>Saad
+$327k
Would then be able to get English and a rookie (likely Williams) next week and swing Ryan to the FWD line.

Would love to hear others thoughts on which option is the best in their opinion.

He’s good enough to have a 110+ average season IMO. Will be the usual rollercoaster with key forwards though obviously.

You've summed up his prospect pretty well based on what he has delivered thus far...

Do you have any kind of backup? He could be ok after this week if he misses, or not, who knows?...they don't tell the truth with injuries a lot of the time it seems.

The issue is, we can't trust what these coaches are telling us. I just get this gut feeling there is a deeper issue than just general soreness.
Figured ill make the trade anyway, maybe down to darcy... grundy... who knows

Grundy could be affected when Gawn gets back in one to two weeks.

Issue for me is that I made the stupid move of wasting a boost on Moyle instead of Grundy, which cost me 80 points and plenty of $$$. So now with Witts out again what do I do?

Is it too late to go Grundy? And upgrade Ridley to Dawson? Don't have enough $$ for English and Dawson.

Or, do I take Moyle against Shrek and work on players like Jones/Ridley/setterfield etc?

What do we think will happen to Grundy when Max is back? How far away is he?

Kid has talent and reasonable tap ruckman (HTA% is running 4th), however, likely been rucking against no.2. will get more forward time and be a key target of Riewoldt. we have seen with him and Amartey they can throw up some low scores. Does the changes for both of them see them improve to 80. Ok on bench, big risk on the field. Those of us who ran with teakle last year were just smashed.

I think if you have Moyle you should assume he will be adequate cover.
In my opinion Jones' spot is your Achilles. If you have the $ to turn him into something useful that'd be ideal.
On Grundy, I think you've missed the opportunity with Gawn only a week or two away.

Is it that friendly?

In Adelaide to play Port against whom they've lost 3 of the past 5, Freo is on a Friday night in Perth, GWS is in Canberra (good record against the Giants but they still have to travel), Carlton game is a 50/50 but again they've lost 3 of the past 5, and off to Ballarat to play an Adelaide team that is much improved from the rabble of 2022 which knocked off the Doggies at the same venue.

Completely agree. Our worst is bad and not that hard for any side to not allow us to play. By any side I mean any side including Hawks
