Might go Dawson into Daicos. Possibly a bit chasing last week's points but Carlton tend not to give attention to opposition halfbacks and Daicos feels like a pretty opposition proof option the way McRae throws him around.
Good shout on Dawson! Might be the way to go actually, he’s been in good nick. Gather round in his home state, first game of the round, he should be pretty motivated to get the win. Would be a POD option also.
Dawson into English
New recruit Dawson into Naicos

Definitely feels like chasing last week's points
Maybe new recruit Dawson into English
Dawson VC as I have Constable only as a loophole in game 2 at this stage.

However, for all those getting excited, Cerra was loosely tagging LDU last week after his hot start. Wouldn't surprise if he goes to Dawson if he is playing mid, rather than Laird.

If he goes more defence then he may be a solid 110.

Just a thought if you have several options.

For those weighing up Laird/Dawson, Curnow seemed to do a reasonable job restricting LDU in the second half last week.
Can’t confidently say he played on him the whole half but he was lined up on him at a fair few of the CBs I was able to see.
It’s enough for me to pass on Laird but given his game last week he could go to Dawson.. may not eventuate but certainly food for thought.

Also apologies if this is a bit too speculative or fear-mongering. Just one I’m considering and thought I’d share in case anyone can shed enough extra context to validate/disprove the thinking..

Is there enough time between dees and dogs? Or am i being paranoid?

Considering both games are being played on the same oval, that should give you some confidence that there'll be plenty of time inbetween those games.

Has Finn MaGinnes been tagging recently? Haven't watched the hawks play.
Tempted to throw the C on Jelly against the hawks.

That being said - Saints don't really have any defensive forwards that will lock down Daicos...

Could go huge again?

Maginness hasn't been tagging.. but I'm interested to see if they throw him in the middle to tag one of Jelly/Cogs, with Day out (and potentially Mackenzie rested, wait for team news)

Pretty sure Maginness spent some time on Stewart last week. They like him more as a forward tag lately which keeps him out of the CBAs. Could change of course.

Oliver/Darcy into Marshall
Thinking the same VC Darcy, only concern is Moyle out rucked Marshall (stats based didn’t see game, could be based on last 1/4 when Marshall was subbed) and forecast of rain in a suburban ground. Darcy a better tap ruck than Marshall so could be an option.

Anybody see the game how does Moyle look as a competitive tap ruck?
