Oof, traded in Kosi Pickett and then Redman for Docherty as something a bit different

K was looking really good then just fell off a cliff. Redman pulled out one of his 'do nothing for ages then scramble a score' type of games.

So what are those with Oliver VC and English in your team doing?
Torn between taking the score or staying with skipper English in the wet…

must admit his history against the power isn’t flash ( possibly why I’m sitting on the fence)

Played: J Dawson, R Laird, A Brayshaw, J Hopper, W Ashcroft, J Dunkley, C McKenna, D Wilmot, H Sheezel, J Ziebell, W Phillips

Yet to play: J Van Rooyen, K Chandler, C Oliver (VC), M Bontempelli, T English (C) and J Horne-Francis
Sunday: T Stewart (new recruit), R Ginbey, J Kelly, N Daicos and R Marshall

What might have been had I started Neale over Brayshaw and Daicos over Docherty. Captained Neale in my keeper league so still a winner. Bytel replacement Van Rooyen has now moved to F6 with Phillipou pushed to the bench. Two of my three remaining rookies in action up next with the big premiums still to come and my captain. Very solid start and looking good once again.

Saturday: M Bontempelli, T English (C) and J Horne-Francis

J Kelly making a late charge at the captaincy duties thanks to the Bombers spoiling the party for Oliver early on. Great matchup as well but unlikely to budge from English given his form this season and that I don’t think Lycett will cause him much concern. Looking forward to Horne-Francis hopefully posting a 90+ once again and another ton would be greatly appreciated.

So much complaining about Oliver, but Grundy is the one overscored. Beaten in the ruck and around the grounds, blew a bunch of chances running into goal, but somehow ends up on 128, much higher than the two Bombers rucks who had the better of him all game.
yes, but he's actually in my team ;p

Pou or Baker - help please!!!

He does get 5 for sitting nicely on the bench, he also gets plus 5 for having made his bed properly and he does get plus 7 for wearing deodorant
Those rare few have the Golden ticket, as they say! Gotta play by the CD game plan and that may or may not relate to any rules publicly stated by CD :p

I'm staying with English, 120 has to be the minimum! Most had Dawson, Darcy and the like as VC.
AS a Saints man can't go with Naicos :p

I’m going to stick with English, but that’s because I’m losing my cash league match atm after he had Dawson as VC
