Opinion RD6: VC/C Selections

Big debate is going to be Bont vs English VC.
Bont - does he get Aish tag? Does Bont notice him?
English - does he play Darcy or Jacko? English points come from possessions more so that HO. He will likely do well vs Darcy. Wouldn’t surprise if Darcy cba’s go from 90pct last week to 60pct this week.
Freo have been giving up I think vs midfielders, backing English as the tallest midfielder!

I hate these stretched out rounds! Too much can change over the 5 days.. loop players, premiums, even the weather! Might go Bont VC to take a friday night option.. although tempted to get the VIC on Stewart given he's back home.
If I pull the trigger on Touk he'll likely be my C, feels like he could have the safest floor vs some of my other options. Neale also in the mix.

English is consistently good and great as the backup C but he doesn't seem able to produce that massive spike score that is nice to 'risk' the VC on, so it's a pity he's playing first and against both Darcy and Jackson.
If I recall correctly, when the stronger more physical Dixon was moved onto English against Port after Lycett was subbed out, he seemed to find it more difficult and he's scoring really tailed off. A more physical Darcy and a more mobile Jackson could potentially slow him down a little for a whole game, although, look he'll probably still get his usual 139 and getting that on a Friday night makes for a much less stressful long weekend, one thing less to worry about.
Hope Setterfield doesn't tag Pendlebury... Oliver VC > Setterfield C, maybe, otherwise Dawson into Oliver.
