Was going extremely well at HT. I had Taranto and Hopper both on 60 or so and Ryan on 51. Players I didn’t own included Grundy, JVR and Chandler who were on 50 combined and Oliver on 37.

Second half Taranto goes nuts with 80 points while Hopper slows down a bit and scores 30-35. Ryan had 31 which is respectable. As for the ones I don’t own, they went bonkers. Grundy, Chandler and JVR score 60 each in the half. Makes it even worse when 2 goals for Chandler were very lucky. 1 was a HTB free kick which was a result of a turnover from a kick in. Another was when there was a 1v1 in the pocket, can’t remember who, and the ball comes loose and rolls into the goal square and Chandler comes out of nowhere for a freebie (worth 21 points?). Ok, rant done. Oliver 98 is very good though, will try and get him in 2 weeks.

Feel for Pickett owners, was always going to be a roller coaster but this is next level.

Daicos, Ridley, Parish tommorow. Hoping for another Anzac Day masterclass for Parish.

Absolute hilarity - a list of my Round 6 X v Y decisions

Decision One: Leadership roles

A: Easy, Madden Ruck Loop, Bont VC - 182 points
B: Dawson VC (via Wilmot E), Miller C - 40 points

-142 points

Decision Two:

Baker to Roberts Loop

A: Take Baker 59
B: Field Matt Roberts (19)

-40 points
(-182 points)

Decision Three:

Take Wilmot 39
Field Cowan 35
-4 points
(-186 points)

Decision Four:
Field one of Samson Ryan, Jacob Van Rooyen or Fergus Greene at F6

Field the lowest scorer of the lot (can't be mad though, but it's hilarious how even that decision somehow manages to be the worst ( and even more comically, they were the rookies I least wanted to field, and they collectively easily scored the best)

Two crazy SC stats i have come across, Fergus Greene has incremently increased his SC score for 6 consecutive weeks, so he is due a 78+ next rnd! And tim English with 130+ for 6 consecutive weeks, has anyone ever done that?? even Gawn/GAJ/Rockliff in their prime would have done well to go 130+ 6 games in a row!
G Ablett Jnr (2014) is the only player on record to have gone close to doing that. He went 140, 121, 182, 138, 161, 145, 141, xxx, 184 in the first 9 rounds of that season.

S Mumford (2014) went 132, 158 & 164 before missing the next 6 games.
G Ablett Jnr (2012) went 139,143,182 & 134 then missed the next 2 games.
