Didn’t consider Marshall for vc, but really should’ve looked at his history like a few did here. Research pays off!

Probably will need to look at Steele in coming weeks. He looked great in that first quarter and was worried he’d go huge. Fortunately it’s a more acceptable score to stop him getting out of reach too quickly.

To be honest I'm really disappointed with the whole situation. Hinkley gets a lot of credit for how he's handled it though.
Watts was just soft and mentally weak and a crap selection by Melbourne, this bloke purposely sabotaged his rookie season because he didn't want to be at the club that drafted him but still wanted to be the number one pick. It was a dog move really.

2/255 with Marshall and Rozee.
Projected 2453 but pigs will fly before I believe a projection particularly this early on.
Still left:
Saturday: Ashcroft, Dunkley, Mckenna, Johnson (if Laird misses), Gulden, T Green, Bont(VC), English, Greene, S Mitchell, Oliver, Chandler, Sheezel, Ziebell, Ginbey
Sunday: Ridley, Taranto, Hopper, Dawson, Laird, N Daicos

Played: R Marshall
Yet to play:
Saturday: A Brayshaw, J Dunkley, W Ashcroft, C McKenna, J Kelly, S Coniglio, J Lloyd, T English (VC), M Bontempelli, F Greene, S Mitchell, H Sheezel, J Ziebell, C Oliver, K Chandler and J Van Rooyen
Sunday: T Stewart, J Hopper, N Daicos, J Dawson and R Laird

Surely it is not unreasonable to expect the remainder of players to score at a similar rate to Marshall. What could possibly go wrong?

Did not consider Marshall given my loop options available and too often I avoid an early VC under the impression it is a lazy approach, especially those I am not too confident in of reaching that 120-130 odd range to be worthwhile given the alternatives at my disposal. In saying that, I might default to English and Oliver once again. Phillipou as mid coverage on the bench so hopefully no outs as Johnson without the E will surely score an 80 if someone misses. :ROFLMAO:

Goddard early copped a lot....turned it around though. JHF can still turn it around
