For Blues fans out there watching the game,
how do you rate Cincotta’s job security after seeing the first half tonight with Doc and Saad back?
Honestly really had to judge, and similar to what Athomas said above, doc has been playing in the middle so its just a matter of if that will continue or not. Kemp has been pushing for selection for a few weeks now and has demanded this chance and has been good so far. Ive said it a few times recently in different threads, but im expecting Boyd back at any moment, he had his 2nd game back in the VFL today so I only think its a matter of time. I think its clear that Carlton are trying a few different things (ie with Doc in middle) so I cant really say Cincotta does, or doesn't have JS. However FWIW, I will be picking Cincotta next week if he keeps his spot

Does the goal umpire at the opposite end of the field no longer signal, via flag waving, scores at the opposite end of the field?

Real funny after watching a great kid have a potentially career ending injury.
Just to be clear, when I made the comment I didn't realise that there had been an injury. Sometimes there are other things in life happening ie cooking dinner for the family, that we don't keep up with all the goings on in a football game.
I haven't seen it, but from the comments it doesn't sound good, so I hope he has a good recovery and it's not career ending as you suggest.

Fair to say Ginbey over Hollands hasn't been my greatest decision... Would have to be a fair chance of being subbed out too to really stick the knife in!
Giving Ginbey the same half time bake I gave Oskar Baker at half time, it worked a treat then and Im hoping it does the same for Gimpey!

16 from 4 touches with lethargic running as a mid isn’t going to cut it…

Cheers @Johnsy44, appreciate it.Hopefully he has taken Cowans spot and he is mid 40’s at half time so will make some genuine quick cash if selected next week….
Just hoping rookies like Cincotta, SMitchell and Johnston hang around long enough for the byes when we will need them..

Mitchell was towelling up Weightman and we subbed him out for tactical reasons, and we left Ramsden and Greene on who had no impact. Surely Michell was injured

Not the reason you lost. The umpires had it in for the Hawks in the last quarter.
