Don’t like many of of the options on the bubble next round (outside of Atkins who is a bit expensive for me at 203k in terms of generating cash) and can’t trade straight up from anyone unless I get rid of Sheezel or Hopper which I don’t want to do so most likely a no trade week.

Planning on keeping Ashcroft for a while with him being one of my last upgrades , think it was a one off poor score. Hoping Drury goes well this week and keeps his spot for next week and then I’ll plan on going Mckenna and Ginbey to Drury and a premium mid using dpp.
Change of plans with the Ridley injury, can get anyone up to 552k I think so will likely swing Ziebell/Sheezel to defence and grab a midfielder, looking most likely at Steele if he performs again today.

I've been looking at the byes, and my defence is looking awful in r14. Dawson, Daicos, Sicily, Day out on the bye. Young and Cowan not playing currently. Mckenna (likely upgrade to doch or stewart this week) and Cincotta the only 2 playing of the 8. I have Sheezel and (hopefully) Constable to try to swing back there, but I'd have to get Sheezel and 2/3 of those rookies (or whoever I trade them to) playing to have the full defence for that week.
This conundrum forcing me to consider the rather unappealing sideways move of Day>Powell to resolve it. Worth it?

Probably something like:
Ashcroft/McKenna/Cowan>Steele/Brayshaw
Ashcroft/McKenna/Cowan>Weddle/Atkins
And then Ridley gets himself injured. Likely off for just 1 week, but as he isn’t really a premo I’ll probably trade him. No boosts left so probably something like:
Ridley>Steele/Brayshaw
Ashcroft/McKenna/Cowan>Atkins

Then round 10 I’ll do something like:
Ashcroft/Callaghan/McKenna/Cowan>Steele/Brayshaw
Ashcroft/Callaghan/McKenna/Cowan>Drury/Berry

Not worth it…with byes best 18 it doesn’t impact as much. Most good teams will be in the same predicament.
Day and Dawson you can move into the midfield and free up space for more defenders if needed…

Hate to think it but if we don’t grab Gawn this week he could be heading back towards $600k and above by the time he gets dpp…

After 130 last night his breakeven roughly 84 and his last 3 scores against the hawks in past 2 years are..

172,95,172…

in Covid season of 220 at Giants stadium think he also hit a 180 from memory….
Where are you putting Gawn?

Well... Can't do this in 2 trades now... Think Anderson is going up $50K or so.
Will probably look at:
McKenna > Weddle
Roberts > Drury
Ashcroft > Anderson

$50K increase for Anderson so he's no longer a value buy but I don't think I can resist him with his bye round and WCE this week. Roberts probably needs to go at some point anyway (is needed for this trade)

Aggressive but I'm feeling it!

Going to Sinclair instead, hoping to get a mid upgrade round after if all of my premiums stay fit.
