I'm not passing up this week's players on the bubble. Cupboard is bare after that. Happy to do multiple upgrades in coming weeks.
Not sure personally on Angwin & Simpson.

Mind you pointless trading out Davey , Johnson , Mitchell & Roberts at this stage as I am not getting enough bang for buck.

Was glad Wilmot reached his BE (just) last night.

Sharp probably goes out when Rich & Zorko return , hopefully Berry & Drury show something.

Mid season draft not far away might throw up a few options.

Feels like round 9 will be a good no trade week if you have no corrective trades to make/can’t upgrade directly with a war chest.

Nothing is screaming out at me for my team, but last night certainly has me in the mood for rage trading should the poor trend of scoring continue today and tomorrow.

Not sure where the angst around Simpson comes from. Wouldn’t still be on their list if they didn’t see something in him. Contract year, soft short term fixture, great bye. I reckon he’ll end up a pretty important rookie.

To be fair though I’m having an absolute mare of a year though so good chance I’ll get this one wrong too.

Built the bank last week after trading Setterfield and Ginbey out, 474k gonna burn a hole in my pocket.

Probably should just go McKenna > Stewart and look at Weddle/Drury

Could go McKenna > Doc
Ashcroft > Serong/Cripps/Neale

Contemplating Darcy > Gawn, freeing up 120k

His breakeven will be 100 if he scores 80 according to Brice Mitchell's tweet.

Can probably be traded then if he doesn't score big.
How embarrassing , sitting right there in front of me.

Interesting decision coming up

Not many premiums putting their hand up to be selected

Stewart - 99, slightly over valued
Ryan - looks like he is back
Doc - what’s changed to be scoring better, can we trust him
Sinclair - maybe

Mids
Brayshaw 1st good game, need to see 2-3, it was the Hawks
Libba - ok game, like Stewart price slightly inflated
Serong - lack of history
Steele - lets see after today, early season form was poor
Laird - deflating slowly, injury concerns, couple of 100s
Neale - ***

Fwds - dont touch, need to see DPP

Sitting on cash, upgrade Mckenna and Worpel - who would you bring in this round? Focus is leagues so not just chasing value.

At the moment its looking like;

Ashcroft and Mckenna

to

Brayshaw and Weddle.

It would mean one more weak rookie on field but one more premium.

3 more games so things could change!
