Strategy 2023: Round 10 Trades

. Likely to slow down trades now with boosts gone last week and other than Drury, possibly holding until RD12. In saying that, once lockout opens Chandler and McKenna will have likely made way for Drury and mid premium.

Anyone considering Rowell for Hopper?
In great form/ perfect bye :-
165 last night, obliterated the WCE midfield yet again at the clearances. Has a great tap ruck feeding him in Witts.
I already have Anderson & Atkins… if I get Rowell also I will be cheering hard for the suns for the rest of the year 😂

Same boat here, Redman and LDU
Only 15 trades left and 4 rookies to upgrade with 5 non playing rookies on the bench (hopefully Johnson is back in next week)
Have to be very careful with trades from here on, really can't afford to bring in any rookie that wont play for the rest of the season (goes with every rookie obviously)
Hopper's injury looks like an impact type so hoping it's a corkie, I'll have to hold unless it's a LTI
Liking Humphries job prospects although getting him in reduces my ability to upgrade, Drury will come in if he looks the goods probably at the expense of JVR, Tom Berry is probably worth a look too. Don't know if Jhye Clark holds his spot.
Probably looking at a double down, preference to rookies with the rnd13 bye, build a bit of a bank with another downgrade in rnd 11, hopefully no trades going into rnd 12 then target a couple of players who've had their byes over the next 3 rnds.
Might be left with 3-4 trades and a semi completed team after rnd15

WCE game irrelevant, look at Cripps vs Eagles then week after 83. Inside mids dominate as we have never thought we needed top draft inside big body midfielders! Ginbey closest we have been in 10-15 years.
Rowell just a little inconsistent in other games, probably too inside vs other inside mids like Cripps Bont Libba etc
Main reason is we both have spent trades on injuries, meed to ensure bullets we fire hit a target. Hoping whilst low on trades my cash gen still gets me there.

After seeing Humphrey score I might change route and go
Hopper> Humphrey
Chandler> Steele(if he can manage to get 100+ this week)
May even go Drury in if he goes well enough instead of Humphrey to allow me to get a better upgrade either this or next week.
Then can hopefully go Ashcroft up to a premium in one trade the week after(or maybe even use my last boost), eyeing off Darcy Cameron(if he's back soon as someone posted about earlier), but I'm sure I'll be able to find someone cheap enough if not.
Will then leave me with 3 upgrades left, will eye off Gawn and Stewart, but whether I can get them is another thing.

Controversial and might have my North coloured glasses on but LDU seriously on my radar. Has looked to be playing injured. Last week looked better albeit horrible efficiency. Doesn’t have the role question marks that Callum Mills does. Could be sub 500k and can see cash gen over the byes being tough.
Will be watching very closely today. I’m ranked 7k so willing to take a punt plus I love the guy!
